  2. 7:51 There’s another theory that Zhiquong (the lady we kept adventuring with during the Chasm)might’ve fell into the Abyss after we see her letter confirming that she went to do more digging on the secrets of the Chasm.So we’ll likely see her again in the future as an Abyss Lector like Enjou considering she wished to learn more about why the gods don’t gift average hardworking people a Vision.Despite her recklessness I actually liked how she questioned Celestia’s way of governing Teyvat.

  6. it's more like this: growing agnarr and faithfull egill mourn the dead and the shadows, calling on the living to prevent the shedding of tears. (they want help from humans to stop this nails which is from celestia, maybe they know that celestia will do this again in the future, so they are getting ready to fight against them.

  12. Thank you for doing this, I had collected all the messages and hadn't gotten around to doing this yet.
    That the first line is an encrypted version of the second I find most interesting, as it's like finding a Rosetta while only ever having found Greek texts, no Egyptian. It implies there will be standalone encrypted texts in the future, otherwise there would be no need to give us a key to de-encrypt in this way.

  19. guess it's time to put my knowledge of latin from school in use somewhere…
    non est ad: literally not of above, so the first two lines can be translated as "the sky sends the thorns, but they aren't from above (meaning of a heavenly nature/ from the true gods, aluding to celestia's false nature)
    imp agnarr means: agnarr's scion/ his son, so that might still be referring to egill?
    vedi flevi: this is an incorrect translation altogether, it much more closely translates to "witness to the grieving" fleo isn't a gentle verb that describes the 'shedding of tears', it's more of a violent, lamenting weep sort of situation.
    (about the unidentified verse, I saw someone translate this verse as arbmu te, or et umbra backwards = and shadow)

    so a sort of 'freehand' translation would be:

    from the sky come the thorns
    but not from heaven

    lamenting the dead

    the son of agnarr

    journeys the abyss

    invoking the living

    dutiful egill

    dwells in shadow

    bearing witness to grief

  22. What is justice? It is hard to define, and if we use this into the theory of Genshin; I think we may open up more idea.

    What Celestia might be fighting is the Abyss which is the darkness and we had seen how those dark stuff can affect the people.

    If we use Zhiqiong and some miners, and some Fatui that was at Chasm underground as example, we had seen the changes due to exposure to the dark (mud) stuff. From talking weird stuffs, to hallucinations.

    The pillars was explained to have drop onto the civilizations, wiping them out. But if we seen how Fatui in the chasm explaining that they are willing to sacrifice for the greater good/will. It is possible from Celestia viewpoint, that by dropping the pillars (thorns) they are trying to eliminate the darkness (Abyss), even if they have to wipe out an entire nation for it.

    The question remains is, who casted the curse? Was it Celestia, or was it the Abyssal (not referring to abyss order but the darkness itself)

    Was the curse a punishment? Or was it caused by other which in turn got other mistaken as the culprit?

    I might be wrong too, but to be honest, there still some stuffs that are just bothering me…

  23. Its crazy how Hoyo dev’s actually think a lot about the lore of this game..and I absolutely love it! The fact that we had to unite to decode the letter and now this.. I really love it, makes me feel proud of being a lore community member since they’ve must have noticed numerous theories by now! ❤️ also, another great video! 🙏🏻

  26. I do love how those message really talks about Khaenri'ah itself. Indeed it was destroyed, but if in case this game expands. I hope they will twist it like the traveler was swallowed by an unknown chasm or was teleported again if possible the traveler again was defeated since Celestia is really strong deity ngl. About the NOT TO BE message, I love how it leaves hanging but to depicts the whole message, for me either Not to be HUMAN or Not to be MONSTER since it is likely that we know less of how Celestia really did thrown her "Nail" in Khaenri'ah. Especially AND SHADOW(S) maybe it derives that the shadows were those "now then" creatures. Maybe I'm wholly part wrong here, just feel free to correct me. This really hypes the most ngl hehehehe

  31. Hello! Before i say anything: i didn't watched this video yet, but i want to report this strange and mysterious thing I've found earlier as soon as possible.
    In the passage between the upside down city and the other nameless riuns I've found a strange statue, identical to the other four at the fountain, but this statue is not upside-down. It has also a missing forehead, like the others, and seems to be attached to a piece of ruin. Could you go check it? Maybe it can be a clue to your researches

  33. Those messages could also mean that it was a message on how they would save the people of abyss (or Khaenri'ah) that was been cursed. For the two abyss herald, Agnarr and Egill to do and risk it all for prevent anymore sufferings of their people.

    I thought when I first read the lines it was just like a summary for new archon quest line. But there are different meanings out there. I'm really curious how would genshin conclude it's story.

  35. wait…with this key also the scripts in Dragonspine can be translated. And the ones in Domains. Basically we have the key to effectively translate Abyssal writings. O_O ( kudos to the person that thought about Latin )
