  1. I mused about this a couple of days ago myself. Mine came more from the direction of the Night Kingdom and its replacement of the Irminsul/leylines

The profane path of "evolution" essentially aims to create a new species of humans, dragon-humans. Notice how the existence of Sovereigns, dragonkind and explicit history that was banned in Before Sun and Moon is common knowledge in Natlan. This led me to think that Natlan is not bound to the rules of Celestia and current Celestia does not have much control over Natlan as it has been severed from the Irminsul through their lack of leylines. Celestia cannot punish them for creating a new type of human species.

In the sands of the Obsidian Codex, the Sage knew "his long-considered plan would crumble should the everlasting flame reconnect with the roots of the earth." To me this line proves that if the leylines in Natlan were to be restored, Celestia (or some entity that could completely uproot the status quo in Natlan) would destroy what he had created. Then, what exactly is the Night Kingdom, which can not only rival Celestia's will by replacing their ley lines, but also incur no wrath from Celestia itself despite going against what Celestia would want?

"Perhaps it was that the gods of the night realm ruled over the underworld, for they were great foes of the Sage in ancient days" How can the Wayob be enemies with the Sage in ancient days if they are clearly working together somewhat in ensuring Celestia has mediocre degrees of control over Natlan? The conclusion I've come to is that the Night Kingdom and Wayob are related to the original Primordial One, the one who showed endless love for humanity before shit hit the fan after the Second Who Came. PO is the only person who Celestia CANNOT simply remove from the equation.

This plan for "Evolution" creating a new type of human species that can rival Fate itself is taboo according to Celestia. Yet unlike Fontaine, nothing has been done against the instigator. This must be someone who can rival Celestia, incur none of their wrath, and equally grant permission to alter or create humanity for future benefit. Someone who was around during the ancient age of Dragons, who knew dragons took humans under their wing, who can entirely replace the Irminsul system on their own (so only the PO and the 2nd Descender actually). Someone who can bend the rules of Archonhood, allowing HUMANS to ascend. Who else could hold so much power over even Celestia other than the PO? The one who loved HUMANS the most?

Yeah, super crack. Wayob are possibly fragments of the PO or just related to them in some way and I'll die on this hill. The way the Wayob spoke so gently to Kachina, that they were proud of her no matter what. It felt like a creator speaking to their creation.

  2. I find it quite interesting that Phlogiston seems to be either fully or just a part of Primal Fire, according to Obsidian codex:
"The wisest among dragons traversed the burning plains, carrying the seed split from the primal fire, stepping into a rugged, untamed land."
It kinda makes Natlanese people (Yes, that's officially how they're called in the traveler voice-vers) kinda similar to Fontainians, except the primal element is not directly inside them

Also, we can almost directly confirm that Pyro Sovereign was Xiuhcoatl thanks to Hanan Pacha book (scroll??):
"In some versions of the story, it is said he was none other than Xiuhcoatl himself, but the gods only know what kind of storyteller would make such a mistake. After all, who could forget that the one who defeated Xiuhcoatl was the very first Pyro Archon, Xbalanque himself. How could things have been resolved at a point so early in the story?"

  3. I see that I not the only one who has thought about the possibility that Khaenrians were half Vishap people, due to the peculiarity of their pupils.

And well, above all what is revealed in Natlan, with each passing day, I believe that the truth of Teyvat is… it was a planet inhabited by intelligent reptiles which was invaded by a super civilization which, upon defeating them, terraformed the place and created the human race… that or the humans were already there but wild and that civilization modified them for… reasons…
