Funny how I also came to similar speculation, and even speculated what "secret" she would tell us at the end of the AQ…Also speculated that the pyro archon is dead without succession and our goal in the AQ would actually be to resurrect her…and just thought it would be cool if her "secret" as mentioned in the Teyvat trailer is some info that can only be obtained from the world of the death…like the identity and fate of the third descender (since s/he is a descender, there shouldn't be any record of him/her in the living world, not even in irminsul…but I was just thinking what if there IS info on him/her in the afterlife (since doubt Irminsul even governs the knowledge in the land of the death), then it would make sense if the pyro archon would be the one to tell us that since she would've had access to it if she died before and was resurrected later…)
My personal theory I think that there is a Pyro archon in natlan because in zhonglis character story five he talks about the seats of the icons being changed so that means that the current Pyro Arcon is still currently ruling over natlan and dain does talk about her meaning that she still very well alive but it’s still possible she’s been placed with a curse of life and death where whenever she dies she gets resurrected or reborn to her new self

I think the Pyro Archon in Natlan changes everytime someone beat the Current Archon in combat. The reason the Fatui is sending Capitano to Natlan is they want him to defeat the current Pyro Archon to get the Gnosis.
