I'm a Genshin player, and I gotta say I'm so fucking disappointed the community had to turn out like this. Well, it is a gacha game . . .
When Genshin players infiltrate the Wuthering Waves community to shit on it it shows there is not enough content in Genshin to keep them occupied from doing stupid sh!t.
the community is both uncomfortable and garbage, to the point that you're better off not interacting with it on any platform..
like "oh you're a genshin impact player? good for you… just don't come near me…"

I have been playing multiple gacha game. Each community is wholesome and hole some (horny af) with each other about the game. Genshin Impact is the most toxic one so far rn
I think there is a vocal minority of garbage people but I know a lot of Genshin players that are super chill and lovely.

The bad side of any community is going to have the loudest voice. Even if itβs a minority which is almost always the case. Unfortunately, normal people are just automatically associated with that bad reputation.

Pedphiles, ppl who don't understand it's just a game, twitter weebs, ppl who have to say their headcanons are all over powering, this is a me problem but the rule 34 artists which I understand are everywhere but still, and lastly the ppl who are delusionaland in denial. Tectone says that these issues dont happen anywhere else, but id say its pretty much the issue with most gacha games, theres just something about gachas that attracts a few bad apples, but the kind of bad apples that are the most mentally ill and unhinged people on planet earth.

Honkai Impact can be bad too. I remember when players sent Wei death threats because they gave a special bunny suit skin to global players and not Chinese players. All games have their crusty, creepy weirdo's who's lives. revolves around the game. They're filled with the worst kind of antisocial losers.

There are a lot of "i'm him" energy in the community. If i would recommend Genshin to a friend, it would be really hard to just tell them to ignore the community.
Basically now it's hard to even be labeled as a Genshin enjoyer, because the loud minority is disgusting.
