  2. Hey so like what if Nibelung ate the 2nd who came the way that apep ate Deshret and became tainted with forbidden knowledge. It could account for those 3 wars being the same, the war of vengeance description, and Nibelung acquiring forbidden knowledge without actually venturing beyond Teyvat.

Another great video, and props to you for reviewing your theory and examining its flaws, although the first part of it was sad every time you mentioned the primordial one, and I was quite happy when the music came back. I hope we get more lore about the origins of Teyvat and the first few wars soon enough as we need to piece some stuff together

  6. Even as a dragon kin I still grin when I hear THE PRIMORDIAL ONE A PROGENITOR GOD HAILING…FROM BEYOND THE STARS!! That abyssal rich Columbian table spice be hitting different!! On my scales it seems the more knowledge we obtain the more questions we have. It’s almost like it’s forbidden…😮 We need more and more and can never get enough until we see the full picture. Or maybe I had too much of that draconic sweet n sour table dust😂

  13. Nibelung was the dragon king by nature, so it's like the most default assumption that he'd be the most element-compatible creature in Tevyat? Note: "assumption" here, ofc.

    So yeah, multiple wars. and yeah you kinda lost me at the link between SWC war and Nibelung and what Apep said there.
    But I buy the rest that Nibelung prob regretted it afterwards and sacrificed himself for his mistake. Is he still around as "The Sinner"? idk.

  19. Yes, I've always thought the 1st and the 3rd worked together on the Gnosis. The 2nd was defeared in the war between the 1st and 2nd.

    Also, I think the 3rd descender is the abyss sibling. He is not a descender anymore after loosing his powers to create the Gnosis

  21. I do think he hails from another world… but I don't think he's necessarily a "god" in the sense that we think of.

    I'm starting to think that, along with "My Name For Now", the Second and Third Descenders are the two "heirs" in the gnostic chorus story of the battle pass. Heirs… to the Primordial One. The king in the gnostic chorus.

    In fact, I'm not sure the "war of vengeance" was between the First and Second Descenders. In Before Sun and Moon, the text states "The second throne of the heavens came, and war was rekindled, as it was in the world's creation."

    The second throne came.
    And war was rekindled.

    We've always assumed it was with the second throne, but maybe the second throne showed up and the war started as a separate event? Maybe Nibelung… just happened to try again right then. I don't think Nibelung is the Sinner, either, because the Sinner seems… to be on humanity's side?

    I feel like the next Dainslef quest will drop a MAJOR bomb on all of this theorizing, but maybe I'm getting my hopes up too much.

  28. In the process of watching your video everything kinda clicked. There is a possibility that ThE pRiMoRdIaL oNe and the 2nd descender were twins (just like us 👀) and came together, and their “war” (if there even was one) happened in private. While the 3rd descender and the second who came, aka ThE pRiMoRdIaL oNe, brought forth the nails and then it would make sense why/how the 2nd who came helped ThE pRiMoRdIaL oNe fashion gnosi out of the 3rd descender’s body (since the Nibelung died, he couldn’t have helped, so he’s the 3rd descender, not the 2nd one.
    I was heavily leaning towards the Deshret being the 3rd, if we assume the 2nd was Nibelung, but things didn’t really fit, especially the timing with the gnosi — how could he have been offered one, if he’s the 3rd descender himself?

  33. Nah bro the real lore comes in next patch. Arlecchino has a cross edged into her eyes instead of a star, it's like she has been marked. No other being in the game has those eyes, cross usually symbolizes a sacrifice. She was supposed to be from Khaenri'ah and ended up the most evil bitch in Theyvat. The star (the primogem symbol) symbolizes the fate system so it means it comes from Khaenri'ah. They messed with fates to the point were everything fell apart. I actually now believe the Khaenri'ahn Irmin is the same person as the Primordial one. The issue was the alchemical art Khemia that rivalled the gods power to create life. The sin Fontaine was judged from was to pore primordial water into Oceanids. The fight originally broke out between Khaenri'ah and Descenders, the Archons were called to stop it. Please note that this was before Celestia was overrun by Descenders which should be when the dragon thrones are overtaken. Pierro is of Khaenri'ahn descent it means the Fatui knows as much as Dainsleif, and he has the ability to tell Tsaritsa. But Pierro is more the catalyst that starts the conflict not an original member of the Fatui. It also sounds like Apep's voice is an echo not her real voice almost like she is a memory and not a physical being. PEACE

    3. The abyss being too much for power for anyone to control: 1st the dragons and then Khaenria

  37. The loading screen message about the Chasm containing two forces that fight, each from beyond the heavens or whatever, is another source saying 1st and 2nd both come from outside Teyvat.
    Oh here's the fuill message:

    "The stony halls of The Chasm's depths are the battleground for two powers that surpass this world…"

  38. Well that all sounds about right and it's more or less what I've thought for a while. Yes the Neuvillette statement about how Nibelung got it a bit wrong is the bow on top.

    And while I know it's a gag the whole thing about you simping for the Unknown God or doing the music clip evert time you mention the Primordial One, is actually very good lore that many miss. The most obvious facts we know about the 1st and 2nd descenders or thrones is that the first is THE GOOD GUY in some sense and the second is THE BAD GUY. Even Apep frankly says that Nibelung got the "power of darkness". She doesn't sugar coat it. She doesn't attempt to both sides it. She doesn't say well no actually the Abyss and Celestial energy are the same and you're just pushing your colonial values on us indigenous peoples. Neuvillette goes further. Siding with the Abyss? Kind of a mistake. The Chasm loading screen says these forces battle each other. Yes there's a ton of attempts to grey things around the edges but ultimately you have the Good, the Bad and the Neutral (dragons). That's all the way since Enkanomiya.

    So how on earth do people assume the PO and 2WC ally to make the gnoses? That makes no sense at all. It's because they have no good vs bad moral sense of the game. They have lost track of the PO being the PRIMORDIAL ONE defined as the one who loves humanity. They have seen the Unknown God as the bad guy, and forgotten that even the Abyss folks readily admit they are the evil side. Enjou say it straight up. Repeatedly. Apep agrees. Everyone agrees.

    From Enkanomiya onward you get the impression of dragons=Indians, PO=British and Abyss=French in the early USA wars. You have these 2 big outside forces that are opposed fighting in the middle of the land that they took from the natives and all the natives can do is ally to one or the other and get crushed. Dragons have a lot of native American vibes. Also the French are always the bad guys (look that up).

    As for Descenders all coming from outside I think Nahida is correct there. René is incorrect and he fails to become a descender. If Descender simply means someone with a lot of energy (or "will") then Nahida is simply wrong. I don't think they'd have the God of Wisdom being the dumbass. Doesn't much matter anyway since Nibelung can come with a 2nd Descender if he isn't one and as you say it's obviously all the same big war.

    And not just because they'd run out of moons too fast if they lost one or two every big war.

    The construction of the description of a Descender as someone who can "make a world, destroy a world, save a world, uphold a world" or whatever the exact wording was…. this refers to each Descender and each associated war.

    1. War of the PO arriving (and they do "arrive" or "descend" so from outside Teyvat) – first war – first descender – changes fate – creates the world
    2. War of the 2WC arriving (and we're told they come from outside too) – second war – second descender – changes fate – destroying the world (giving it a finite life span instead of cycling)
    3. Cataclysm – third war – third descender – changes fate – maintaining the world (meaning that the world was fated to die 500 years ago but this was delayed 500 years)
    4. ???? – 4th descender – saving the world

    Again PO=creator 2WC=destroyer there's no way these guys would work together on a project that is to benefit the PO. Therefore the 3rd is a collaborator with the 1st, another powerful alien and ally to the first, who agrees with their agenda mostly and is associated with the Cataclysm. And that person is most likely the Goddess of Flowers. She's allied with the PO, although her views are not identical they are both pro-human. She's uber powerful in some sense. She has a history in game that heavily hints we'll hear from her again. And she is known to have forseen the Cataclysm and acted to stop it using her sacrifice – just as we know the 3rd descender sacrifices themselves for the good of humanity. It's a decent fit. Because you know I don't want to say Paimon's the 3rd. Most likely Liloupar's lines saying Traveler is like her master is another Chinese pronoun attack and Liloupar means Goddess of Flowers is like Traveler because they are both descenders.

It kinda makes sense for Nibelung to be the sinner we see in Dain's last quest, considering that Nibelung was the first to bring forbidden knowledge from outside Teyvat and use it against Celestia and that also that "sinner" has a WHOLE STASH of it in the back of his car, seemingly being the core of it all

  43. I always understood the first war was the first versus Nibelung and the 7 dragons. Later a second war came, which is between the first and the second. And now there seems to be a third war, with Nibelung coming back with Forbidden knowledge as an act of revenge.

  48. I'm thinking about if “a traveler from afar” in the Records of Jueyun is the 2nd Descender. We don't have enough info to fully believe in it, but they being involved in the fall of Seelie/Unified civilization seems suspicious.

  49. All this mess with counting of descenders is because descenders and Second who came has different numbers. Second who came in Before sun and moon is Second who came AFTER in original game language. Nuvi told us about First who came AFTER. Therefore we have 3 descenders – 1. Primordial One, 2. First who came after, 3. Second who came after. My candidats for whocemersafter are Sustainer and Nibelung. I can be wrong.
    Also would be nice to see video how you came to conclusion that PO is not from outside? Other people also talking about this but I am confusing with this, how it could be.
