I'm not gonna roll for a character just because they're strong, they have to be 1) fun to use, and zhongli makes the game like… anti fun by making it so you never have to dodge and 2) be an actual favorite in terms of character for me which… I don't hate him but I don't have any particular connection to him either.

Dude , when you have no 5 star and you are playing on mobile(f2p) then zhongli is a very much neccessry.

honestly this mentality is so nice and makes the game so much more fun. when i started the game back then on release, i got a tripple 5 star start with venti mona and kequing right on ar7. at 1round ar 35 i had 5 5stars and the issue is, that you kind of feel like you re forced to use them because ''they are good'' so i ended up kind of ruining my account because i ended up putting mora, exp and stuff into pretty much EVERYTHING. and ended up with nothing. and i dont even enjoy playing venti or kequing or mona or childe. so i quit the game at some point because i felt like i just wasted my time, had i just spend all that mora and exp into one team of character that i simply enjoy… now i returned to the game 2 days ago ar40 now, world 5 and my main team is ningguang/noelle/fishl and diona. while ning is lvl 60 and noelle is lvl 50 and the other 2 are lvl 40 because i dont have any exp left or mora to lvl up anything…but i have so much fun, exploration all of a sudden is challenging again. back then i ran around be like: hopefully the next world gets harder…nope… open world content is allready quite easy… if something will make it more fun is to challenge myself instead of oneshotting everything. And even tho there are people saying otherwise: The game is NOT ''just abyss'' because if abyss is the only thing thats challanging or hard but realisticly abyss is only like 1-2% of the entire world and content…that makes no fkn sense at all… i actually honestly think about just starting a new account all together and put love in 4 stars and try to get ningguang. Because right now i m at a point i dont even want my 5 stars i allready have…i refuse using venti because it makes exploration and killing mobs trivial..its not fun. if i could trade in my venti for 1 or 2 constellations on my ningguang i would do that.
