  1. Honestly im afraid of most people who like lumine and chose her. I'm friends with a few folks who chose her, don't get me wrong! Its just a lot of them are fucking rabid and terrifying.
I chose Aether though, since I'm non-binary (AFAB sure, but im not really feminine at all otherwise) and I felt more comfortable playing him since IMO, he's more neutral. If I chose Lumine, I'd not be using her constantly as my main support and sub-dps, no matter how effective the traveler's E is.

TL;DR: Im friends with some lumine enjoyers but all in all most of them are rabid and scary, so i avoid these situations. I chose Aether because I'm Non-Binary and he's more comfortable to me.

  3. Because it is all and all… futility and ego sh*t.

But Genshin really has a problem: All characters share the same model. Even the NPCs. I'm worried Sumeru is going to be a bunch of white ppl everywhere. I mean, look what they did with Lyue: Chinese culture amazingly represented.
So there won't be excuse for not doing the same on Sumeru… Diversity is something we should all urge for, but not on nasty twitter… Instead, use the ingame feedback function.

  4. Lmao, imagine canceling someone for liking a writer or the art of a writer that has nothing to do wit their ideals. O wait, tis is Twitter, of course we can cancel anything that breathes if it's not my same way of thinking

  5. Perish the thought that anyone should have reservations about a lifestyle that revolves around schizophrenic delusions and irreversible bodily mutilation. 🙄 I'm so glad that Medical Science took the time, effort and resources to create antipsychotic drugs, only for society to throw them out the window.

  6. The main reason that people want more Lumine official art (That isn't considered fanart) is to portray Lumine as the Traveler alongside Aether and not just as the antagonist because she is great in both roles, but many players in the EN community only see Aether as the only canon twin and have been known to bully anyone that even makes fanart of Lumine as the traveler, people even make Lumine Hate & Aether Hate bait accounts to spread the wildfire and many people fall for it on both sides, despite articles on google that prove that Hoyoverse themselves already debunked that while Aether is used in promotional art or trailers, he is not the true canon MC, neither of them are, the canon MC is left to interpretation and representation of the community, to be completely honest, I may main Lumine as a Geo DPS and/or Electro Sub-DPS/Battery, but I would love if Hoyoverse would make more art or covers of Aether & Lumine together such as during the 1.0/1.1 release where Aether & Lumine had their backs to each other side-by-side, Silver swords in their hands. Both sides have their monsters in this community war, but hopefully one day this war ends and people stop arguing about it, in the end I love them both, in birthday art I would love to see Lumine as the Traveler alongside the birthday character, but if Hoyoverse commissioned a birthday chibi art of both Aether, Lumine and Paimon all celebrating together with the birthday character…..I would be able to die a happy man, I love the twins and paimon, all three of them are my favorite characters in the game and if they are all together my heart would explode and it would sprout legs and dance across my desk if I ever see it commissioned on hoyoverse's twitter as an officially sanctioned promotional art. Thank you for your time and enjoy the rest of update 2.5.

  7. These movements are usually overly self-righteous and extremely unforgiving. If you don't fit into their definition of what is "right," or "corrective," they won't let you in. They don't want you. That kind of narrow inclusivity is functionally counterproductive to their cause, as well as off-putting for anyone that might have been sympathetic or could have been convinced. No one wants to deal in extremes.
