  1. I’m glad you made this video because i have been saying they need to leave abyss at the current difficulty or lessen it and make harder content for the long time players and whales. I have no idea how long it would take a brand new player starting today to be able to clear floor 12 even at 3 stars ✨.

  2. I've played Genshin exactly 71 days and I finally beat this abyss with just 31*. It was miserable, It was fun, I hated it, then I liked it, but heres the problem – I got my friend to start playing the game about 3-4 weeks ago. The whole time I was in this abyss I was thinking to myself, "I hope he doesn't start attempting floors 9-12 this rotation. If he does, this is going to make him quit the game." If you hit floor 11 for the first time, in this abyss rotation, and you aren't ready for it you are going to get this feeling that there is nothing for you to do besides use up 160 resin and log, because you have no chance in the abyss. That is not going to bring in new players, or convert a new player to a dedicated player.

  3. Not even abyss. We spend more time in a dungeons than teyvat. Artifacts should have the possibility to drop in the openworld. Dungeons are SOO boring 😴

    AND!! NEW LVL DIFFICULTY with corresponding/better rewards. LVL 90 IS A JOKE

  4. As a 4-month-long player, my Noelle and White Blind build (based on the one I've seen on this channel) wrecks floor 11. My "failed 50/50" Qiqi almost solos the other side. 8 stars, 0 deaths. People just need to build a few more (mostly) easy-to-acquire characters, and not just speed-murdering.

  5. lol the craazy thing is the only reason they keep making these same floors harder and hard is because eventually they would have to keep giving more and more rewards for the numeber of floors and they dont want to do that. The don't even want you to win. They dont want you getting those primogems

  6. I started in the beginning of July and I'm ar52 now. I have bennett and ive just seen the raiden shogun in the story and hit soft pity for both kazuha and baal. I got ayaka after maybe 20 pulls. That should give you an idea of what's possible on f2p but even so I'm now trying to stick to using original resin instead of fragile resin to level talents for my 5 star characters.

Abyss isn’t fun bc abyss isn’t actually hard, anyone that knows how to dodge can fight every floor without dying, but since enemies have millions of HP it doesn’t matter how good you actually are at the game, you need to have huge dmg numbers in order to win bc it’s about TIME not SKILL. And that’s just garbage IMO bc high dmg is locked behind months of RNG and $$$ and Genshin isn’t worth the effort and MHY doesn’t deserve your money.

    Literally give us Genshin: Nazi Zombies where we fight mobs in co-op with our full teams…make the leaderboards revolve around highest round, dmg dealt etc. And DO NOT RESIN GATE IT. That’s all they need for endgame content. Survival modes > time trials especially for long term endgame content.

  8. I don't get why new players shall be able to do every content instantly, that would be super boring. Old players need fresh content while the fresh players shall feel some climbing and progress. What would be the reason of playing if a f2p could do end content easily flawlessly after a few weeks of playing from zero? You still can do it as a whale of course, if that is your will.
    New players shall EXPLORE the vast lands of the game because EXPLORATION makes that game great and new players will find a lot to Explore!

Howl, I'd love a video where you go over all the garbage that's STILL the SAME after a year – like Zhongli's pillars or any summonable structures going through the floor of the Oceanid arena, Venti's (you know, the WIND archon) Burst not being able to move Klee's bombs but Kazuha's Skill can do it fine, Amber's kit literally remaining the same since launch day, and just so much more I don't even want to type out lol. Mihoyo literally has a free money machine on their hands with this game but boy do they just seemingly not care.

  10. Glad someone else is talking about this, I always complain about abyss in the surveys, it's so unfair for people who didn't play since the start, in version 1.3 and earlier they had fucking mitachurls and 5 minute time limit, now it's 2 million hp bosses and only 3 minutes, what the fuck?

  11. I started a new account a month ago and I was stuck on floor 12 since ar38. Now I’m at ar 49 almost a month later and can’t get pass this new floor 11-3. It took me 2 months to beat 1.0 abyss. This abyss feel 10x harder these floor should be floor 13&14. What worse is all the op characters new player already miss out. And these recent characters aren’t that strong. Hell with these new hp pool characters that use to feel broken are now normal. When are they going to increase the power level of the new characters to surpass ganyu xiao hue Tao. Inazuma bosses are tankier yet no new dps increase character since ganyu this is bs

  12. Im not new and i guess im pretty bad. I always seem to only mange 33stars and ive regressed somewhat since trying for 36 stars my hands and arms started to hurt I stopped trying and it bugs me to see missing stars 🙁

  13. I think you're correct but I also think the abyss is a waste of dev time 😛
    I doubt even 5% of the playerbase actually bothers with it beyond the requirements for the adventure book (heck I doubt even 40% finish that either)

    Abyss probably suits honkai players or the like who were invited into a game that's been about combat in a small area vs a timer from the start, but most of the Genshin playerbase were hooked by the promise of open world exploration which the abyss is anathema to. I'd rather they worked on including randomly generated dungeons, possibly with a coop option.

I am a player that started during Klee rerun, I got lucky and have Jean and decent artifacts luck but the new abyss is wayyy too hard, I 9 started floor 9- 11 last abyss and finished the entire abyss last rotation but this time is just way too hard for me, I can’t get pass floor 12 chamber 3 at all

  15. Pffft…I will never pull for Kokomi. I want to get my hands on the other units and her kit is not good for my style of playing. My friend got her and she is happy. But I honestly dont know what is so good on her to make me want to wish for her.

  16. Yes, balancing out difficulty in content is hard to execute, indeed. Still, im sure mhy can still find the right tweaks however long it takes. That said, i still see amazing dudes out there who can play like a machine with some less than optimal gear and perfect the abyss.

  17. Well i was 5 months in the game & than i start beating floor 11 every single time but yeah i can't still get 36* bc it's getting harder everytime the most i can manage is 34* right now. I can get 35* right now but it's not worth it also i play on mobile & ping is always 180 or 200 so i can't quick swap
