Alice brought Aloy, KFC, and Klee into Teyvat. She's definitely top-tier
Well, thanks to leaks i saw who is the one who makes Itto behave, kind of disapointed with the design, but i guess it was expected. I dont know if ill roll for her because she looks like a 4 star, and im kind of avoiding going for 4 stars now.
With how huge lore and how many new unit potential in genshin i say current 1 new 5* per patch is honestly too slow XD cant wait for new unit man.
I couldn't agree more on your comment about wanting characters to be involved with the story.
That's part of why I'm so disappointed in the Inazuma story. I felt like it was wrapped up too quickly. Imagine if we had to go to Enkonywhatever to clear the fog, to activate the pillar as that would give us some artifact that would weaken Raiden JUST enough for us to stand a chance against her. Along the way we encounter Itto and his gang, they want to stay out of it but get wrapped up, help us and we see him get captured by Sarah so we can escape.
Then you have a patch where we raid the prison and we get to set these characters we met free. THEN we go have the duel with Signora. All those cut scenes were awesome but we never got to see Kokomi be the brilliant strategist we're told she is. We saw gorou lead in one fight and that was cool but I wish we could have seen more. I feel like the story for Inazuma should be wrapping up around now instead of in 2.2.
The rebuilding of the jade chamber is a good example of this. Ningguang mentioned wanting to rebuild it almost right away. So it makes sense that a few patches, which is probably many months in game world time, she's made her preparations and is ready to rebuild. There was set up, reasonable time between events, and pay off. They also used that to work in how Ningguang wants to to show the adepti that human's can handle things. It continued a few mini arcs and did so rather well.

People are talking about Alice while I'm still waiting for Scaramouche. It's been since November, 2020. I only play this game for him. I do like Xiao a little bit, but he's the only other character I have any care for at all. I hate this game.
The character releases is one thing I don't like about genshin. For at least half the characters you don't even see them in game until their release which makes it hard to hype up a character. Yae Miko was a good release in my opinion as she was part of the main archon quest and then after a couple of patches she got released as a playable character. As of right now you can only truly be looking forward to the leaked characters, the archons and then the few from the tevat trailer

Now Raiden Ei is in the same situation that she was at her first release… same goes for Kokomi…
Welp I'll try to pull for Raiden Ei and probably fail again but it's ok! At least I got Yae Miko.

Well, being the cultured human being I am, I have been hyped about the two cat magician looking characters showed to be coming in Fontaine. I think they're called Lynny and Lynette or something. I know nothing about them but never forgot since the roadmap trailer
Certainly more intrested in established characters than new ones that even get their textlines way later on older chars about them, meaning that they had not been planned to even have connections there in the first place
Personally i am way more intrested in Varka and especially Skirk, there is no talk about skirk apart from childe so far whatsoever, but skirk seems to have a place and role already, i really love this kind of mystery but knowing they exist and parts of what they seem to do

I love listening to every leaked characters "about character" voicelines. I remember before Gorou's model was leaked, i was already excited to get him because of Kazuha's voiceline.
But right now my plans are to pull for Ayato (i just. Love hydro units and he's hot so) and then save for Baizhu or Scaramouche who will hopefully appear in Sumeru. On that note, I hope hoyoverse/mihoyo introduce some new harbingers in Sumeru, considering we know of all but one in lore (last one is probably Colombina like many people theorize) but we have only seen 3 of them in game…
it's funny how in the lore the hype alice so much, albedo states that alice is a nearly omnipotent mage who just travels the world, that klee current destructiveness is nothing compared to alice, klee run all the way to liyue and beat the geo primal vishap to send you the ascension material on her birthday, alice tried to modify amber's baron bunny to blow up a mountain, but they said it was dangerous, alice is literally as strong as archons or stronger in lore, hoyoverse is hyping her as much as possible since nearly day one, I wouldn't be surprised if she actually just pulls a metal gear out of her pocket during her ultimate, cause we know by now that alice actually has an immense technological knowledge and is capable or advancing civilization on her own but chooses to just watch and travels cause of free spirit.
I'm excited for Vakra, Alice and Skirk (Childe's master/teacher) because they all seem like very powerful and interesting characters that would actually impact the story

Honestly I'm only interested in the Traveler's lore. I don't necessarily like many games where you play a main character and they're just completely middle-fingered over everyone and everything else in the world. Yeah it'll be cool to see lore for other character, but I don't care too much about them other than Aether and Lumine as well as Diluc and Kaeya. As the game continues to progress in regions and story I'll be really looking put for it
I've never heard of Alice before, and I'm almost caught up to the end of the main story line. I also started in 2.0 The only character that I think has been established but not available is Beizhu AND scaramouche
the one thing I can't wait for is to make a crack team composed of Klee, Alice and Albedo lololol family reunion
