As far as I know, Yelan is the first person to suggest that the invading monsters from 500 years ago were actually from Kaenri'ah. Raiden, for example, didn't seem to have any clue where they came from. It's strange that Yelan seems to treat the Kaenri'an origin as a simple fact.
If it is indeed 'common knowledge' (among those in the know) that the monster attacks came from Kaenri'ah, then my working theory is that the attacks were a false flag orchestrated by Celestia to justify, and get the Archons involved in, Kaenri'ah's destruction.

Before this quest I wouldn’t probably feel much if Xiao has died, but after doing it, he became one of my favorites. It was such a beautiful quest. My favorite part was our therapy session with Xiao at the end.

If you go to liyue after finishing the archon quest, you can trigger a small hidden quest thats related to this. Its worth it. I promise.
I dont use yanfei but in this cutacene, she was dope. Her and yelans combo was so good.
Zhongli traced the time trail made by Xiao getting the group out, that's how he got Xiao out.

That fantastic compass took me way too much time to figure out, the whole do something in the past so the future changes is quite a unique idea and took me some time to grasp
I noticed that in the compass, both turning the back backwards and forwards leads us to the abyss. Maybe this is hinting that the world started with the abyss, and it will end with the abyss

Fun fact right after u complete this quest go to the story teller in liyue to which zhongli usually goes to and you'll see him there
I like how they start putting more people from different city to interact together, that’s how I wanted this game to be more interaction between the playable characters
Playing this with DBH ending theme in the background made it 10x more dramatic lmao
