  1. i notice that genshin's lore use to be explained with minor things we interact with, a kind of metalanguage, or analogies of the great secrets of the story explaining itself with minor things for us, like:

    – the samsara of sumeru being an analogy to the temporal loop of teyvat, destruction and rebuild (nahida literally suggests it)
    – the collective consciousness project of that guy from alhaitam story quest, and that "one wrong thought could corrupt and destroy the collective" thing being an analogy to the irminsul tree
    – the veluriyan mirage being an analogy to teyvat itself, a world inside a bottle, a dome, an eggshell

so, with this in mind, i guess the ousia and pneuma thing, and furina having both, is an analogy to the power of the sustainer, she must be able to use divine powers and also deal with abyssal power, and that's why celestia are able to create pillars which supress the abyss and the forbidden knowledge, and that's why her arms seems different from each other, just like furina's eyes.

  2. this is so random and isn't' backed up with solid arguments. Nahida never said the sustainer is the primordial one. other wise mystery would be solved. The drops are Dvalin's tears and not his blood, cause blood is naturally red. and there's nothing about sustainer that shows she is corrupted. that's just her aesthetic and theme. and if she were corrupted she would've killed us. but she (and celestia) were planning something, to throw The twins back to teyvat for some unknown motive.

  3. Celestia they purify corruption in Teyvat through nails, so if they can purify corruption they can't be corrupted and if Paimon which is assumed to be a celestial being is immune to the abyss and its corruption then Celestia too are immune. Celestia are most likely an abyssal divine (abyssal stars) entities that mastered the power of both worlds (light and abyss), making them able to unlock the ultimate knowledge: Fate!

  4. Hear me out, what if the twins knew the Sustainer of heavenly principles and was their enemy/friend but the siblings broke a rule and the sustainer took their memory of their time in teyvat before they wanted to leave?

  5. I've always seen the Sustainer as something of an administrator who Celestia can deploy to troubleshoot the big issues that get in the way of Teyvat's biggest purpose, the preservation of humanity against the Honkai. All the same, she is based on God Kiana or Herrscher of the Void. I can't speak precisely to God Kiana since I'm not that familiar with GGZ 's lore, only that in that game humanity lost completely, and the world was reset onto the next samsara cycle. As to that incarnation of the Herrscher of the Void, she was made up of two personalities, one which wanted to destroy all humanity, and one which wanted to reunite with Cecilia Scheriac, who reminded Sirin what a mother's love is like even in the deepest depths of Honkai's influence. Kiana's struggle for control with the Sirin personality is a big part of her character arc in Part 1, so it could be assumed a similar struggle could be taking place within Sustainer.

It should be noted that of the Herrschers we see in HI3 , only Kiana has a second personality with whom she struggles with for control. The others either work for Honkai destroying humanity, or are Herrschers of Human following Elysia's example. Bronya Zaychik is particularly special since the Core of Reason contains the minds and personalities of the 300,000+ humans who were killed in the First Honkai Eruption in Berlin in 1950 when Welt Joyce, the first Herrscher of Reason manifested. As a result, without Honkai's influence, it's much easier for the Herrscher of Reason to fight for humanity. Mei was never really shown struggling for control either, she only let her destructive impulses take over a couple of times, once in despair over her own isolation, and again because Kiana was in danger. Most of the Herrschers of Honkai are usually shown giving into destructive impulses, without a second personality. Kiana had this struggle because she was a clone with Herrscher Cores implanted into her, based on both Sirin and Kiana Kaslana. Hers was a more complicated situation for sure. Even if the Sustainer was cloned from a Previous Era Herrscher of the Void, it wouldn't have Sirin's or Kiana's personalities.

I say 'Previous Era,' because I still think there's a slight possibility Tevyat could be another world's Project ARK.
