It was definitely one the best quest ever
that moment our hearts collectively shattered. and collectively sighed in absolute relief in a matter of a few seconds. what a rollercoaster, THE BEST QUEST TO DATE.

Xiao was the name given by rex lapis when he freed him and the other yakshas from slavery if I recall. All the yakshas were bestowex new names after their freedom. Maybe so that they can live a new life that they wanted?

And now we wait for the next Archon Quest to probably break our hearts again…
What scares me is that most Honkai players say Genshin is not nearly as emotionally scarring.
This is the best quest to this date, at least for me. It got me emotional.
sorry, but i saw chat saying that "Alatus" being Xiao's old name was a spoiler earlier in the quest when it really isn't. they talk about it in the character menu or wtv, in the story section, and it's also the name of his constellation. tbh I'm surprised of how many people had never heard that name. i'm a Xiao main tho so ig I may be a little biased.
This was such a fantastic quest. I agree, Xiao has some of the best character development along with Albedo. I hope future quests will be like this one and Albedo's, where the characters we love interact with each other. Great reaction, Doro!
I wish to know more about the other yakshas especially bonanus, she looks cute. But i doubt hoyo will bother making them
i did Halfdan quest yesterday, and then Perilous Trail today. i am, a not so experienced sympathetic crier, didn't know that two days of consecutive crying was not good for my mental health
This makes me want to help the keeper of Pervases' temple create another temple or something to preserve the actual history/memory of the Guardian Yakshas. Since Xiao doesn't like the book tale that depicts them, he could honor them another way that would be fitting for his eyes.
I'd love it if that became an event like Moonchase or next Lantern Rite. They deserve to be remembered by more than just Xiao, the Traveler and friends.

I had to play the archon quest on low quality for reasons and I hadn't realised they made Xiao's face look so pale when he came back
