  1. imagine they introduced enemies that have "phases" in which they only take dmg from physical attacks.
    Think the main issue with physical is that there's just way too many enemies in the game that are either immune to physical attacks or very resistant to it (like guin guards). The game is designed around elements so sometimes I wonder why they put physical options in this game th begin with? Most characters don't even need to do normal attacks in this game. This game is Skill and Burst impact most of the time lmao

  2. Just like Sumeru where all new characters revolve around Nahida (its archon) to be META, I guess it will be the same for Fontaine where you will need the hydro archon to make your new Fontaine characters META.

  3. Let me correct u walrus. Mtashed did complain and said that if dendro was there at the start he would have played the game really different. He thinks that his crit stat artifacts have been rendered redundant due to easy em builds.

  4. 44:06 walrus i probably have an idea abt how to make a pyro character work with only melt and not vape but my idea still needs refinement to it. I can probably give an answer if the below points are discussed so i can get an idea. Looking forward to the next livestream so i can give my solution.

  5. On top of my head genshin takes abt 17 gb or so. They have added a new feature that removes past quest voice lines. Infact for the last couple of patches. I mean from chasm to 3.5 the memory uptake has been 16 to 18 gb consistently which is pretty impressive since the map has expanded since.

  6. 14:45 I wouldnt call it boring. In the overworld i dont want to waste my time cycling through 4 team members unless it's a quickswap. (offcoure if i would, everything dies by the time i hit the 3rd or 4th team member or so XD ) So i usually use jean in 2 anemo + w/e gives me even more movement speed to traverse the overworld. In inazuma or whenever i'm farming something it's usually ayaka and kokomi. most probably with a kazuha as an extra in case i need too cc everything together. But overall it's just ayaka or kokomi for freeze/heals (she has milelith and dragon tales offcourse). So i really like my hyper carries and when their attack animation are good it will keep beeing satisfying to pull of. For example Eula vs ayaka. Eula just doesnt have a big aoe elemental attack. And it's so fast you can barely enjoy it. Ayaka C1 + Amenoma Kageuchi is what i use in the overworld. And because of her sprint/infusion mechanic. It feels greet popping up behind opponents and then bursting them down with a charged attack. Dodging big opponent with her 5e normal attack dash is also very cool. But eula as a physical uses her normal attacks, she uses her normal attacks again for her burst, her elemental skill doesnt do satisfying high (quickswap worthy) dmg because it's cryo and not physical and is therefore mostly used as a cancel on her burst to support her normal attacks :S. Like there is so little to work with that although she looks awesome. Eula just felt boring when i got to test her out in 2 events i believe. (high number do keep exciting to pull of though 😛 ). Forgot where i was going with this. But just saying that i wouldnt want them to stop making hyper carries. Although i think hoyoverse is afraid nowadays to make anything with good mechanics because it's too hard for them to balance it out and it cool lead too fast to a unit beeing OP.

  7. I joined Genshin in 2.3. I skipped all the dendro bs. I don't like it at all. I just playing for the story. Of course combat system is cool, exploration, music, graphics ect. But at the end I'm only interested in the story. When the story will be finished I'm probably done with the game.

  8. I don't see dendro "meta" dying just because Fontaine is coming. I think dendro teams will get stronger because dendro is easy to build and dendro and hydro go well together.

    Eula isn't "fixed" because she doesn't need to be "fixed"

    If it ain't broke don't fix it.

    I've mained Eula since her first banner and still maining her today. She's timeless and she stomps!….

    Rosaria has been a great support for Eula since her release.
    albeit c6 for her full support with phys shred but still i doubt
    mika can top that. I'd argue Rosaria was intended as a Eula
    support.

    The only thing in this game that is irrelevant is Spiral Abyss the thing you base everything on.

  10. Based on the crumbs lore so far, the hydro archon/Focalors doesn't seem like a type of healer or someone who could heal you 😅 .

    At best, if they're going to imitate actual water in her kit, she could most likely have dmg mitigation and be a fast dps (because water can help you and kill you at the same time).

  11. It's more around the way characters interact than ppl think. You can't play a Nahida team the same as a YaoYao or Tighnari team just bcs they are Dendro.
    Hoyo just needs to be creative about how the skills interacts to create new scenarios while also adding to the current roster.
    We have a bunch of good Hydro applications that covers every single way of using it in the current meta and teams, and that's how Hydro works, it's a flexible element meant to be a support and enabler for other elements (hence why its healing focused).

    Fontaine being Dendro friendly or not will not really change much, just add more tools to do the same.

  12. Their decisions need to make it easier for new players to get into the game
    New players are what keep games going
    How about add a passive talent on each character that says that they get a 15% bonus damage when they cause a vape/melt/overload/electro-charged reaction?
    Also, what if the hydro archon's abilities scale off the current team's HP?

  13. For META shifts:

    Superconduct: 80% Physical Res Shred…to incentivise Physical DMG builds.

    Crystallize Options: 1. Buff the EM scaling Shields.
    2. Add EM scaling DMG reaction like Swirl does.
    3. 4pc Archaic Petra effect gets buffed:
    "Now works even when the wearer is off the field."

    "40% Crystallized Shield strength increased.
    When they pick up Crystallized shields, they get bonus Elemental DMG AND GEO DMG bonus based on the Archaic Petra Wearer's EM."
    (Similar to Kazuha's but includes GEO this time)

    Shatter: Make it possible to apply "FROZEN" Debuff Status on Bosses and Elites even if they are not CCed Solid. So you can still trigger SHATTER DMG on them when you do GEO dmg or Heavy hits on them.
