But I think that you are right about Surtalogi. This connection between words "Dainsleif" and "Surtalogi" cannot be a coincidence.

Surtalogi has more chance to actually be the sinner we heard during Caribert questline instead of him being Dainsleif.
There's one small problem tho. During our encounter with skirk, she mentioned that Surtalogi while insfficiently famous, he/she has different titles. One of them is "The Foul" but there are also others with one we all have heard before, "Gold". And as we know, "Gold" is part of The Hexenzirkel. So basically, if we take this theory at face value, wouldn't Dainsleif be the one that caused the creation of the abyss monsters and why hasen't he been mentioned by Alice?

Always thought Dainslief was a bad guy, and both the twins are going to take him down. He is always spying on everyone. Look at his treatment of Kaeya. Besides being a pure Khaenri’ahns (along with the Jester) he is constantly watching Lumine. Every time he appears to her, she passes out, has a wild dream, or goes into a trance. As the Boughkeeper of Irminsul, he goes have the ability to change her history and make sure whatever magic spell they have her under, is still working. (Remember Lumine lived with the Jester when he was still a royal Madge in the court of king Irmin, before the fall of Khaenri’ah in the cataclysm.) How many years, centuries would that have been before the Jester defected to the Tsaritsa and created the Fatui and Harbingers? Both Dainslief and the Jester are still pretty much in control of their minds and have not gone mad like Clothar. Is it possible Dainslief is undercover to the Jester and the Tsaritsa as the unknown Harbinger? His duty to watch Lumine and Kaeya and report back to the Jester and/or the Tsaritsa? If that is so he is a pretty despicable person. He has already alluded to the fact that the twins might want to take him out at the end of time. I would not blame either of the Travelers, taking him out at the end of the game.
But isn't the Skirk's masters name also rhinedottr and he is creator of albedo?
