Story Teaser – Yakshas: The Guardian Adepti | Genshin Impact

Alatus is the Golden-Winged King who is also the Conqueror of Demons. None knows whence he came, nor whither he went.
Only at springtime, during the offering of lanterns at night, might the people see the glow at Guyun and declare: “Behold, the Vigilant Yaksha ends the dominion of daemons!”
Or they might hear the sound of a flute amongst the marsh reeds, but find none who play the flute, and thus declare: “Hark, the yaksha calls to summon his old friends to their homeland.”

  1. 0:37 The Cyro Cicin Mages definitely looks like the Cryo Yaksha. Hmm… Maybe Snezhnaya found means or technology to obtain the Yaksha forms or abilities? Also there's definitely Pyro Cicin Mage waiting for us in the future updates… Some people say that Tartaglia form might be coming from the Electro Yaksha himself…

  2. Here at 0:58 the narrator revealed that three out of five Yakshas have died. But something is strange here. We had five Yakshas in total, three of them have died, so in the end, we still have two surviving Yakshas left. One of them turns out to be Xiao. But what about the other remaining Yaksha? Apparently, they have vanished without a trace, but they didn’t die. Now then. Let’s dive into the details.

Over here at 0:32 — the Yaksha in blue (probably either Hydro or Cryo) — if you pay attention to their body anatomy, this Yaksha could be female. But if you look closely (as a fellow Honkai Impact player), you’ll notice that she has a very, very familiar hairstyle. Her appearance reminds me of a demonic version of Yae Sakura from Honkai Impact. Instead of carrying around a pair of long, fox-like ears, she carries a pair of quite long, demonic horns instead and to be frank, her hairstyle really just resembles the Yae Sakura i played as in Honkai Impact.

Ayaka from Inazuma (Genshin Impact, but not out in live yet) mentions an individual who she calls Yae. Ayaka also mentions that she works with this Yae person. She enjoys working with her. But that’s not the end of what I have learned regarding this Yae person.

An artifact, known as the Summer Night’s Mask, strongly resembles the one that Yae Sakura from Honkai Impact carries with herself. The description of this oddly familiar artifact will be pasted below.

The mask of one indwelt by a deity.
A mask that has been cast in the image of some legendary deity.

People will often take on the guise of the fox of legend,
Covering their faces with masks based on her divine visage,
Perhaps wishing that they might gain her ability of transformation.

In Inazuma's legends, everything has a spirit.
    …But even so,
It is likely that most such beings would have long fled,
Driven into the forests by the suppression of the Shogun.

But many people still believe in these divine foxes and the ability to be indwelt by them…
They believe that thousands of years of age may confer power upon animals.
As such, they also believe in what this fox mask represents.

A note has been left on the back of this mask, written in a lovely hand.
"I'm sorry, I departed under the cover of the fireworks."
"We will most likely never meet again. Take care of yourself."

  3. Hello, MihoYo! 😸 I am a huge fan of Genshin Impact, I appreciate your hard work and everything you do. Constant updates, something new, and most importantly interesting✊🏻✨. But your game really lacks Russian voice acting. I really want voice acting from the StudioBand. This creative association, which is engaged in dubbing Japanese, Chinese and other animation at the studio, conducts live broadcasts of the dubbing process, as well as a YouTube channel. The game would be much more atmospheric with it. Thank you💖
