  2. The children choir singing somewhere around 0:24. It's beautiful yet mature for an animation. It's somewhat FMA-esque, which I really like.
    I'm glad I spent BP money for them. Genshin is such a marvelous casual game.

  9. This cutscene is so beautiful. From the narration, to the music, to the art, and the story of it. This Archon quest is the absolute best, the writing is miles better and it just keeps me engaged. I loved every second of it. I sure can't wait for 3.2!

  11. The Sumeru archon quests are absolutely awesome! This is probably my favorite cutscene in the entire game besides the electro yaksha. The crescendo within the orchestral piece when it is revealed that Nahida is actually a child form of Rukkhadevata gave me chills

  13. Basically the Scarlet King brought to Sumeru, to the Ley Lines and Inmsurl the knowledge of death that ended in the phenomenon of Maranara (The Withering) and the illness of Eleazar. But How's that related to the God of Flowers though?

  16. I really like the short part of the music when it says "Our embers were preserved in the Aaru village" 
    And when it says "Children of the desert, cling no longer to past grievances, but hold tight to the memory of this act of benevolence"…..goosebumps

  18. this is something that doesnt quite hit me right, so is rukashawarma just nahida who got shrinked and with a memory loss? Timeline seems to indicate that She shrinked after exhausting herself saving the desert, then it is probable that she exhausted herself once again after the fight in khaenria which probably ended up with her memory loss and forgetting she's rukadevata (which might explain why she didnt know anything despite being the god of wisdom and being powerless)

    edit: i just looked carefully and they both even have the same pupils and hair colour

  24. I’m seeing a lot of comments about that being Nahida so I wanna clear some things up.
    In the first Archon quest It’s mentioned that what happened to the Scarlet king happened thousands of years ago, long before the fall of Khaenria’h, then later we find out the greater lord disappeared after the black wave while protecting Sumeru which happened only 500 years ago. Then Nahida was found.

    So it’s impossible for when Rukkhadevata exhausted her energy for that to be Nahida, the timelines wouldn’t make sense. It’s also explains why the statue of the 7 is of a small child is because of Rukkhadevata size at the time. I hope this cleared things up!

  25. Something doesn't make sense for me. I thought the desert civilization fell millenia ago, but here it's implied they fell with the cataclysm 500 years ago… How was King Deshret around after the archon war? Was he subservient to Rukkhadevata?

  29. My interpretation: Lord Kusanali was never shown in this video.

    Think about it. This cutscene showed King Deshret, which perished for around 1000 years ago, while Lord Rukkhadevata "disappeared" 500 years ago, two events that happened 500 years apart.

    This meant that Lord Rukkhadevata might've shrunked her size not just once, but twice. First was 1000 years ago when she helped King Deshret, and 500 years ago during the cataclysm where she might've exhausted all her powers to protect Sumeru from the Abyss. And from how the Akasha Terminal works, Lord Rukkhadevata might've created it by the time she first shrunk 1000 years ago as a backup for her people to remember her as she was. Only then did this became a threat for Sumeru when she herself became a part of the forbidden knowledge, and thus needed to be erased from the minds of her people to cut off the same curse that caused the fall of King Deshret's civilization.

  30. i think the timeline is
    thousand years ago- this happened and Rukka built the temple to save the land
    but then the forbidden knowledge is back again and King deshret now have to sacrifice himself and Rukka had to help him…
    if what happened 500 years ago exhausted Rukka's powers, it would make sense. she disappeared then Nahida appeared. the wording here is weird, but even if it happened different timelines, the main reason Rukka exhausted her powers is mainly because she helped deshret. the narrator of this video is the only witness of Rukka turning into a child and he did not say if Rukka turned to a child a thousand or 500 years ago and what she did to fix the land 1000years ago surely did work for some time.

    … so it will make more sense for it to happen 500 years ago. Also if there were records of Rukka turning into a child thousand years ago, wouldn't the akademiya thinks Nahida is absolutely Rukka? If Rukka did turned to a child a thousand years ago, there will be records as she will still be the archon even in her child form… there are no records because, there is only one witness and Rukka disappeared right after turning into a child. Akademiya found her but decided she is a totally different person…
