I personally don't think the VV domain is really worth heavily investing into at all, because not only maidens set is terrible, but also most Anemo's only want EM, one of the only sets where only 1 mainstat is viable. And that's awful because getting an on piece VV EM mainstat is really really rare.

I usually farm Emblem the most.
I also farm Clam (every account needs two healers and at least one of the will be Kokomi, Qiqi or Barbara) which is very resin efficient as you don't need good substats on it and Husk can be used on Yunjin (also don't need substats).
Then Viridescent but I generally only aim for bare minimal effort on those – any mix of ATK, EM, CRIT, ER, or Anemo DMG, if necessary even including a 4* EM main stat helm or cup. It gets the job done and the characters are strong for the set effect, their own damage is secondary and honestly, even those trash sets are decent. Dealing a medium amount of swirl and atk damage at the same time is not that far worse than maxing on of them and ignoring the other.
Finally if I have an Ayaka on that account, I farm Blizzard but I try not to overdo it and if absolutely necessary, settle for a 4* crit dmg circlet. I have no use for the hydro set without Childe.
…and that's all. I won't waste my time on the pyro, bolie, etc domains ever again, I rather do the new domain for some more flexible 18% sets. Worst 4 set effect for sure but it allows swapping the artifacts so that the "bad" rolls can be made useful. Rolled 15% HP with the 28 CV? Fine I put that one on a HP scaler. Too much EM? Will be good for an Electro. For more specialized sets, I can't do that, I'm stuck using the bad rolls on that one character I farmed the set for, so I likely lose more on the substats than gain on the better set effect. Only the blizzard, vv, clam and emblem sets are powerful enough to justify getting a 4-set. (and gladiator/wanderer but those are from strongboxes anyway)

I’m planning to build Hu Tao. I don’t need any emblem pieces at the moment, is it worth it to farm Crimson witch domain in your opinion or just try to farm Shimenawa’s. I’m weary about Shimenawa’s cause I still want to use Hu Tao’s burst fairly often

Also i was very surprised by how high CWoF placed xD I have PTSD from that domain from farming for my Diluc. Amazimg and informative vid. However, as much as I support the information in this video and how you explained everything accurately from beginning to end, I still have to disagree with just certain things. I understand the issue with electro, but I ignore it's meta and downsides. I farmed electro artifacts for all of my electro characters mainly for just the 2-piece set and I make it work. I love using electro-charged and overload over melt and vaporize and have been doing it for many months now. I only use melt/vaporize while Kokomi is on my team with my Hu Tao or Rosaria. Fischl is my most powerful electro user at C6 with the Stringless at R5. I'm one talent level away from crowning her elemental burst to up more damage. I rarely farm the Inazuman domains because of the similarities it has with previous domains despite them having a few different artifact perks depending on the domain.
