The reason i think they’re butchering her so bad rn is because they know they made the intial pyro’s too broken. I mean we haven’t gotten a new pyro in so long. And the pyros we currently have are proven to be decent to best. They’re probably scared that by buffing her they in return buff every other pyro. And knowing how pyro was technically the pioneer for big pp reaction dmg, they know they gotta be careful as hell. But whatever they’re doing to her rn is just abyssmal to say the least.

how can dehya be bad if she is a power creep version of albedo, she does the same as him, but with more dmg a better element and dmg red + interrup res and heals hersejf. you all are idiots.
Just compare both of them on honey impact. she also scales on attack which is much easier to get thx to bennet then def
if they do it down the line the same as they did on yae's kit its for me to cope with
I call it now dehya will replace xiangling in Xiao team. Xiao, Deyha, Bennet and Faruzan will be better because Deyha is not a dps but a support with a little of field dmg here and there.
the hp scaling in her kit only exist because HP will be the main focus in the Fontaim Meta, it´s Yae EM all over again… her kit is fine. A better albedo that will benefit from the Fontain meta. I think I should make TC video, because current Genshin TC are a bunch of noobs and people believe them even when they are wrong most of the time, because most genshin player can´t think for themself even a tiny little bit. Look at albedo and deyha on honey impact and compare them a little bit and you might get a hint
The only thing I see is what I said back in v2.0…
MiHoYo (now HoYoverse) will make characters weaker and weaker to make the content seem harder but a constellation or 2 will make them seem on par with the mistakes made on the first 4 and 5 stars seem so powerful released.
She isn't even out yet and the freak show started. This game is all about playing who's fun and you find to be interesting. I've never pulled for a character because they were stronger. They all kinda suck because I'll never c6 anyone unless it a 4 star. It's not that serious.
I personally don't really care with dehya nerfing or how bad she is, I'm enjoying the game and characters.

I have two hunches
First, it's just hoyoverse's way of marketing new characters, they "framed" the new characters to be bad before release, so people pulled for the previous banner character, in this case, people will gladly pull for yelan or hutao over dehya, but then when it's actually her release date, they buff her up to the point she's a gorgeous unit
Second hunch, they just really dump dehya so bad, my deepest condolences for her character designer

At this point I play genshin mostly for waifus over metas. I have done building most of the dps and support characters in order to clear 36 stars abyss. So I will still pull for Dehya no matter how bad her kits become, though I still have hopes that Hoyoverse still fixes her.
Hoyoverse literally keeps making "niche" character because of the existence of people who said "we can made them better , we pull because of character design and not the damage ".
u know as bad as it looks am going to hold out and hope they do something with her.. tbh miko… kiku.. nilou i would say kokomi but meh.. all started to shine after updates. candace and deyha might be the worst characters to date but in some teams i enjoy using candace. if deyha is bad then she is bad i will still play her and be told how trash i am
Gonna pull Dehya just because I collect all heroes (only c0 for 5stars, cause pure welkin user) and since I have every other character(minus Nilou – had to skip for Nahida) I have zero interest in rerun banners….
Still it would be really sad if she gonna be bad (does mihoyo scared to powercreep Hu Tao, who is chinese waifu?) because I love her design and character….
