  1. In case you’re wondering, i blurred the Russian chat messages, as I can’t be sure it’s not something horrible. Also, yeah. I’m not great at Windtrace. I was utilizing invisibility more off screen to a good effect. Its increased CD is a bummer though.

  2. It feels like it's balanced for 3 really good rebels… Either you all hide and juke using invis well and at worst 1 gets caught, or you're the only one left and they just get the favor, aka free win. My favorite strat is staying high and central if I can, the compass gets harder to rely on if central and not too high up, you've got a lot of directions to juke, and you're more likely to be in range to yoink the favor while at least wasting some of the hunter's time before they capture you. Of course, any strat so good it becomes the standard becomes predictable, that is a cool kinda auto-balancing aspect of this game.

I think that'd be the funnest way to give some power back to the rebels, making it easier for them to yoink favors reliably, rewarding rebels that play actively and take one for the team with a generous score bonus. Maybe ensure it doesn't spawn right on top of the hunter, and give rebels crazy movement speed before and for like 5s after it's picked up.

  3. Okay to my understanding when someone like greets you at the hunter zone during preparation stage it's like a peace offering to be buddies πŸ˜‚ this is especially true if the two characters you and the rebel(s) are using are common ships like Childe + Zhongli, Chongyun + Xingqiu, Beidou + Ningguang, etc. They just want you to walk around and joke with them before you capture them πŸ˜‚

Can't believe I'm teaching windtrace etiquette rn

  4. i personally really really like windtrace, it is alot of fun playing games with random ppl.

just like that one time, that the hunter felt really bad capturing me and someone else so we talked about not liking being hunter very much, and then they said they felt really bad so they let us win, i was just there to have fun and i just think that it was really nice of them πŸ™‚

and i honestly would really like another windtrace event.

  5. This was my first windtrace and I had a blast playing it. I was mostly playing for fun after getting all the rewards and at those times, I just either took my time catching rebels or had fun trolling hunters by not using the disguise.

At one point, I always kept getting the Qingce Village map and when I was sick and tired of hiding as a scarecrow or deadwood, I just hid in plain sight. I would go behind the big rock at the start of the game, wait for the hunter to finish checking the upper part and once they would go down I ran to the top and climbed the houses. At that point it was just a matter of waiting to see if they could spot me and get on top of the house. It's fun in random and definitely a must play with your friends.

  6. knowing how childe mains are with zhonglis i have a feeling they were trying to flirt/roleplay aoishlkhala no idea about the klee though, maybe they were friends trying to bully the hunter

  7. I think windtrace is much better with a full party of friends. What I did was ban the favor because its basically and auto win for the hunter. We would find the most cheeky hiding spots like hide in a bush as a lantern so its impossible to see or climbing in obvious spots that you can only see if you look up. It was funny watching people struggle
