For people wondering, yes I know this is a fan organized event. The disappointment comes more from seeing how much effort fans put into the anniversary compared to MiHoYo so far. It continues to show that this game is kept alive more so by its amazing fanbase. Waiting for the next livestream seems to be what people are looking forward to now. See you all there. Good luck.

And that is why Genshin WILL NOT improve, because all the players are accepting all the bad moves Genshin(executives/marketing team/etc) made to it's players.
If we forget and leave it behind then they will do the same for the second year anniversary
No, the day when Mihoyo is going to throw away primos will never ever happen. Look at their earlier games, they have all been very stingy about what you get. Genshin is even worse because they know they can be stingy without big backlash.
How disappointing for such a company with a very big game. Seriously do they not realize that making their players feel hopeless is going to make everyone want to quit during the 1st anniversary. How ironic and blinded is Mihoyo by greed when they realize that giving back to the community would also encourage new players to come and join during this supposedly special occasion which would equal more revenue for them.

I don't like what moHoyo did and I don't want to forget it. I feel disappointed and angry. Like many players, I was with them from the start, even when they were focused on earning money (abandoning map development, releasing only new heroes). I regularly bought as many primogems as I could afford (they are hellishly expensive). With that money, I could buy some really nice games, but like other players, I stayed with Genshin. After this year of fidelity, we got NOTHING. There is practically no anniversary. The rewards are standard if not worse than in some of the previous events. They have created pointless contests where only a few people can enjoy (for example, only 10% of players will get Blessing). Also, this concert, which will be watched by a definite minority – do we need this in pandemic time? We are gamers – we are interested in the game and its content. They could do a lot at a really small cost to make us happy, but their stinginess pissed everyone off. They were scared, that it could cause some financial losses? Well, now the real losses will start thanks to this anti-advertising posted on many portals. Everyone talks about how greedy they are. Also, many of my friends are considering stopping buying not only GC, but also BP and Blessing – I think other players think alike. After this whole year, I think they appreciate only our wallets.

I'd rather see more of those creatvie fan art over 1000 primogems. Instead of free pulls, Mihoyo gives us great in-game content, a great creator community. Where else can you expect from any other game?
Let me emphasize, I *don't* want free primogems which only benefit the account dealers who hoard a bunch of accounts.

It sucks considering the fact that Mihoyo has made a lot of money due to Genshins success and on top of that, Honkai gives us good stuff during their Anniversaries all the time so what gives?………… unless their waiting for a second anniversary to give players sweet rewards which would succ, or, something magical happens on the 28th
