  1. or maybe they are teasing an upcomming kitsune character similar to Yae Miko, after all, the ramen vendor who tells us about the story of the eating contest refers to her as "lady with fox ears" as well, it makes sense why itto doesn't know yae miko as an oni, but why wouldn't a regular citizen of inazuma know who she is either?

  2. Japanese folklore is really complex because it changed during times, but that being said i dont think Itto is affraid of shrines, theres a lot of types of onis and the red onis are considered symbols of protection in modern days, some types of onis like the Amanojaku are truly evil and harmful to humans, those would probably be exorcised the moment they get close to the sakura shrine.

  3. Honestly, I'm starting to dislike Yae now. She's definitely a tricky fox given their nature in myths and all that, but to go so far as to mess up my boy Itto like that?! UNFORGIVABLE!! No wonder her and Raiden are a terrible twosome in the wake

  4. I don't think it was a prank. It would be closer to a dare, since it would be obvious for Itto that the dish would hurt him, even if he somehow wasn't aware of the ingredients, since his allergies are almost immediate, yet he went for it anyway.

The most probable thing is that Yae was eating the ramen with fried tofu to begin with (foxes love tofu in Japanese folklore), Itto arrived and demanded her seat, probably suggesting a competition for it (he is super competitive) and so then Yae suggested to have such competition with her favorite dish. That would mean either Itto backs off for his own safety (saving Yae the trouble) or goes forward for it (amusing Yae with his recklessness). It's a win-win for her.

  5. @CatWithBlueHat This has nothing to do with the video and sorry if there are mistakes, I can read English but I can't write it well, so I used the translator hehe

I recently noticed that changing characters in the world brings out their element symbol from the vision, but there are some characters, like Keqing, Kokomi, Chongyun, Diluc, etc. those who do not get the symbol. When I realized that I compared visions of the same element and I noticed that the vision of the characters that the symbol appears blinks, shines and stops shining, while that of the ones that do not appear the symbol is always "off". Do you think there is a reason that some visions shine and others do not?

  6. One weird thing I think is that both he and the NPC refers to Yae as “lady with fox ears”. Understandable why Itto might not know who Yae is but why not the NPC? It makes me almost believe there’s another lady with fox ears but that’s probably unlikely.

  7. Or Yae Miko used her illusion to hide the fact that she's eating ramen there because apparently the ramen seller also refer her as fox-earred lady, which is weird because as you said, almost everyone in Inazuma know Yae Miko. Also this is only my prediction, Yae Miko knew her opponent is oni, thus purposely making the eating contest to be kitsune ramen in order to make him lose. But Itto's stubborness made him win, totally outside her expectation. I imagine that she will have a voiceline about Itto, saying that she's still pissed about that loss

  8. He literally doesn't care what rank they have. He just look the people more on equality over ranks, because of that kids really love playing with Itto since he plays with kids with fairness…even tho he's way older than those kids. That is why Itto is one of the character that have unique characteristic in game.
