I like the Sumeru Archon Quest (well, up to the point I played). I wish I had more time in the day.

  1. I hope that theres an event that will answer the questions in Inazuma Arc Quest. Its has a lot of plotholes in the stories like ayato, as a head of one of tri commissions, his position in that event is very important, instead we only got more questions and Kokomi herself and the whole resistance. Like gash! Its a total mess

  2. I'm quite satisfied with the Sumeru Archon Quest it's just the transition from the jungle to the desert was strange. It was like: "yo,Kusanali is trapped,we have nothing to do here, let's go to the desert". And all this rivalry between King Deshret believers and Rukhadevata believers took quite a lot time. Like we got it that it was all Academia's propaganda and you need to assemble like Avengers. But overall it was great.

  3. I did like the archon quest but I have a few things I disagree with.

Firstly I think that the Saberuz Samsara wasn’t paced very well. It was very drawn out and i think if it was a little shorter it would’ve felt less draining to me. I can understand it’s importance however in highlighting the evil doings of the sages.

Also I wasn’t a fan of how the most recent patch ended. It was just a bit of dialogue going “yep next patch we’ll get ready for a show down” and which I thought was a bit disappointing.

Overall I think the patch was overall at least a 6/10. I think I got too hyped from the trailer and I was mislead to think we were getting more story and action etc than we actually got. Also the desert ain’t too shabby but I did prefer the rainforest.

  5. Bruh, what is good about this shitty story? The dialogues became much longer and boring at the same time. So much unnecessary information in such talking moments. You just sit and listen 30 minutes without an possiblity of skipping. I don't really know people like enjoy such gaming.

  6. Inazuma just felt like a long filler arc tbh, especially in comparison to sumeru. But with all the lore associated with inazuma it shouldn’t have felt that way at all. I feel like enkanomiya as a whole should have been part of the archon quest – it’s very important to the world of genshin as a whole.

  7. Signora’s boss fight was so hard! Especially, like you said, she just kinda came outta nowhere in inazuma. I don’t knows anything about her and we never saw her doing anything bad so it didn’t seem important to the story itself.

  8. i’m so glad they’re actually showing the story instead of putting it only in reading because i’d love to read them but i have trouble reading and i don’t have time to read it what with college and all but i love love this quest line and that the archon is important to the story without being the story and that her growth over time isn’t forced

basically i really like how they develop nahida as a character and that’s only one of many details i love

  9. The only frustration I have with Sumeru's lore is a lot of it is in 2 massive world quests. The stuff in it feels too important to stick behind a random world quest and to me should be more highlighted in it's importance.

  10. I really hope that in a few years they go back and touch up the Prologue and Chapter 1 AQs with streamlined dialogue… and all the cinematography finesse we've been seeing this year <3
It won't do much for existing players (who don't make new alt accounts) but if they're trying to expand their playerbase, more polish on the first 30 hours is gonna be a must!

  11. I really love and appreciate the lore!! However, it’s sad watching my friends leave the game because it’s overwhelming and giving them anxiety. Because the amount of prerequisite quests you have to play, usually at least 3 quests in order to play a story quest, and then Finally being able to play the archon quests, but then you multiply that by every region released… It is too much for most people. I’m certainly not an expert writer so I won’t bother with any suggestions. But there should definitely be a easier way to fast track through the story if that’s what you would rather.

  12. Honestly the only Archon quest I feel like complaining about is the Resistance Arc in Inazuma, all the others I've been completely invested in from the word "go". I figured the lapse of detailed lore in the earlier chapters is because they're the early chapters, and it feels like more and more of the world is being revealed in a steady buildup. You can't expect someone to put together that 2×8=16 if you haven't taught them that 2+2=4, and equally you can't expect someone to understand complex lore if you haven't taken the time to establish the simpler pieces.

The Resistance Arc feels hollow not only because of a lack of lore, but I'd argue primarily because of a thoroughly rushed narrative. The Traveler wasn't given the time to properly bond with characters like Teppei or observe Kokomi's tactical brilliance, and Kokomi being duped by the Fatui into accepting their aid could've easily, EASILY been explained as a desperate gamble in desperate times; meaning she'd have known they were attempting to manipulate her, providing a mirror to Kujou Takayuki and further showing the tactical prowess of the Fatui had they gone that route. But instead, the tactical genius was duped by the oldest trojan horse in the book and we're left only minorly influenced by Teppei's death.

  13. Archon/Story quests are great. It doesn't matter how long they are, they feel short for me. That's because of voice acting. But the other world quests are hours and hours and hours of walls of text. That's what feels long and so boring.

  14. The Sumeru archon quest, even if long, really improved on the writing
I still personally think that animations and how the story is shown is still very bad, everyone doesn't really show much emotions and the poses have barely any character, but besides that
The story is really good, while there are some small parts that feel a bit too long and with no reason being there, everything else had a reason to be there, so nothing felt worthless, and the story itself is compelling, act 2 really made me feel like "I shouldve known it was this, it' s so obvious!!", and 3 and 4 were really nice to show how the desert people felt and all
3.2 story is making me excited, no other trailer did that before, it actually gave me chills
I hope they keep improving more and more
