Here are my honest thoughts about Genshin Impact 4.0. Fontaine is beautiful, but the under water areas are quite boring for combat focused players from what I can tell. The quests feel more of the same, but the Archon quest for 4.0 seems better than Sumeru currently. I think that Genshin will keep being a popular game people can explore in… but if exploring isn’t exciting to you, it may be time to take a break.
I don’t hate 4.0 or anything. I am just not really engaged with the content or having much fun.

3:48 built different? Destiny series focuses on the kits and abilities well, this will be suitable
8:22 Exactly of what I was thinking. Perhaps that is the new or better stimulation.
Honestly I left the Game since enkanomiya came out, i was just tired of everything that the Game was, repetitive. I was tired of farming for hours, tired of the pity system, tired of the abyss, tired of the entire Game, idk if anyone else feels that too
Mtashed needs to find the mega bosses lmao
I wish there was a skip option. The dialogue prison is such an accurate way to describe it. When I hop in I have to decide if it’s gonna be active, fighting, exploring, or getting some quests out of the way and smashing the next button for hours. There’s just so many quests, do they all need insane dialogue?? 😩
personally i like fontaine its so much fun, underwater exploration is interesting but it can be very fun when you find the minibosses. there's also 2 minibosses in the overworld too that are cool
I been watching some of video you do this gonna be the first time I comment on any of them I not pro gamer but I do intend to behave like lol.but question on this video you said that your burn out maybe might need little challenge and no I'm not talking about the abyss that is boring I have a challenge with these kids the challenge is who can beat the boss slowest of course it me as much I look in to the build. I try build mass dps character it just doesn't come close to anybody does max for is 1k but your video more information then other.thank you .
Well i love story i love lore i love the character that hoyo want to give. Even the world quest that doesn't have a voice act i still love it. Sometimes i even try to imitate the character
I wish they'd do a similar Boss Fight like is in Lost Ark though not to the point where it can't be beat without being in Coop and without the punishment where one dies the fight is over.
I felt like i found everything but my map shows otherwise so this place has more than meets the eye. I just wish there were less older enemies…more unique puzzles like in sumeru desert…the main archon story was ok with the trial and everything. Speaking of archon I am not a fan of Focalores look or personality…maybe her kit will be busted tho…did get lynny because of his crazy dps…I have 100% every other region but not feeling that urge with fontaine
“A dialog prison” 😂😂😂😂😂
There is a character in remnant 2 who talks for 20min straight no lie…even skipping the dialogue takes 10minutes…i can handle genshins text but this dude was just unbearable
I’m actually starting to build my account up with the addition of waifu Yelan, Bennett, and pulling Kazuha in 3.7 – so I understand your sense of burnout with an already stacked account and nothing to use it on besides the Abyss.
They do definitely need more ways to enjoy built accounts but as far as regions Fontaine has been my most enjoyed area since Liyue. I like that it’s compact in size and the ability to explore underwater is a helluva lot better than endlessly running forever through sand in Sumeru.
Genshin needs higher ar an harder enemies for you it sounds like.
I too would be happy with that.
World level should be raised an ar. Its been to long.
Also breaks in genshin is highly recommended.
Uh, kinda stopped playing the game in Inazuma updates because of how boring and monotonous it got… I hope at least Fontaine won't disappoint in story quality because its been slackin a lot lately.
P.S. glad Mtashed finally understands that lol. The game became more of a chore than anything else.
Yeah, it sucks that we cant use what we built underwater. The characters and weapons we spent money/time to get, the artifacts we farmed for so long, everything is disregarded.
I only explore until I get bored (usually one or two chests, usually.) then I got play online domains with wacky builds until I'm out of resin. It's not the perfect solution to burnout, but it's chill and kind of fun. I've turned a lot of random characters into on-field DPS characters just so I can run them on co-op. It makes genshin much more fun for the 30 minutes I play a day, for whatever that means.
HOYOVERSE WILL NEED TO STEP UP HYPOSTASIS BOSSESS
Why is this man still playing or creating content about genahij? Didn't he make a loud and big announcement on quitting genshin? Now genshin has a big update, he's back on getting that views huh.
To me, Fontaine is my favorite region so far just because of all the new features it introduced, and how beautiful and vast it was. I quit Genshin back in 3.8ish, and Fontaine brought me back, I really have enjoyed this so far- and I’m excited for what’s to come. I guess I’m more of a looks player, and lore stuff, not as much combat.
The region is cool but doesn't add a lot of new things, it's just yet another region update with the same ass puzzles
Diving is cool but I hope they don't insist on this because it's going to become tedious VERY FAST
Compared to Sumeru's release, it's very underwhelming.
I didn't play much thursday (only finished the 2nd part of the archon quest) and wednesday (only finished the 1st part of the archon quest), but I already almost finished everything (exploration, quests, hydroculus etc). Sumeru's release took me a week.
But a huge pro for the region is the fact that chests are not those petty common little 2 primos per chest, it's the big precious chest with 10 primos per chest or exquisite with 5 primos per chest which makes things a lot more enjoyable (knowing you're not doing tedious tasks for nothing really helps)
