when bran said “free game by the way”, i felt it. i love how mihoyo lets you enjoy all in game content without paying for it. putting in money let’s you get more characters and best in slot weapons for them, but even without putting in any money, you’re still able to do all the quests, events and stuff. it’s amazing!

Most players say this game is a "Kid's Game" until they read "hanged himself" on that note.
It also gave me goosebumps when I played this quest that time.
And also, hands down to one of the best cutscenes in the game especially Yun Jin's Opera Performance! "Free Game btw!"
12/10 Archon quest. Shenhe Story, YunJin and her performance, Ningguang and Beidou. Amazing Soundtracks, crazy cutscene. And this was "ONLY" and Interlude Archon Quest

Yunjin's Opera was just perfect for the ending of the quest💛💛
Dude, you’re telling me I missed Qiqi and Xiao?! I missed my child and my dear Yaksha boy?! Are you kidding me?!
I digress, seeing Cloud Retainer acting like a proud mother for Shenhe, is just chef’s kiss. I love their mother daughter dynamic.
But the cutscenes, they were what sold it for me. The scene where Shenhe recalls her past and she walks up towards the wave and freezes it, gave me chills. The OST played during that scene, it must be one of my favorites, but my true favorite score out of this whole quest was hands down the Divine Damsel of Devastation. That cut scene made me cry. It was more than just a master piece. This was my first time participating in an event and this experience was more than amazing, it did not disappoint.
Even though I haven’t pulled for Shenhe, she’s one of the characters whose personality I like the most

Have you noticed that Shenhue and Ganyu are sharing a dress?
Both wear a black theme with red ropes, but Shenhe wears the top of the dress (that white part covering her boobs) and the back of the skirt. And Ganyu has the front side of the skirt.

This story quest is insane! They went a lot darker, which I have noticed lately. So far, the darker stories have been "hidden" in artifacts descriptions, but now they let it into the main story too. Not to mention Enkanomiya.
Though, I just can't get over how bad Ningguang's english voice acting is in this cutscene 1:29:05, I have no idea what happened or why she is mumbling her words so flatly, as if she is bored reading the script. It's not like that most of the time. It's a bit funny tho. xD Not as funny as that guy's "OhmygodIcan'tbelieveit" when Shenhe delivered the rock lmao
I really want more cutscenes like Yunjin's though… Chills first time watching it.
Literally every time I watch either of those cutscenes I tear up. You can feel the passion and soul that they poured into this quest. By far the best Archon quest in the game……… Free game btw
It really blows my mind when Bran reminded us that this is a free game. I did spend some big bucks on Genshin, but when you think about it, this game is technically free to play. And you can play through the entire storyline so far without paying a dime. It's really fascinating how far free-to-play videogames have come, let alone the paid ones.

Free game yes but also "this is just an epilogue btw", honestly I felt "avenger assemble!" shit when the mililith, the jade chamber and beidou with the alcor took part in the battle.
And ningguang just casually pulling some Gilgamesh stuff, remember this is just some sort of after story quest, I have reservations about gacha but I think people can't deny how good this is.

well just saying , about Asian culture they call someone they pay respect with family title or something like sister brother uncle aunty something like that but dosent mean they actually part of family maybe uncle Mingjun might be Shenhe's neighbor when she was young

OMG as soon as traveler attacked a genshin impact add showed up, it was the whole opera of cut scene <3 lol i guess ill watch it again <3 (i ve watch it ALOT more many times)
Im just so happy that a female character gets this much screentime and got so much story, compared to the past female story. Not just another piece of meat for men to stare at. Thank you for giving Shenhe this much respect. Also, thankfully she didn't add Qixing flowers, eating raw Qixing flowers can give you severe diarrhea.
Also the chinese opera scene always gives me goosebumps when I watch it and tear up. Hopefully all characters get this much story telling and lore and not just be a bait character.

I love how mihoyo put Chinese culture in it, since it's a Chinese game. It makes people, like me, even more interested in their culture, especially because I've never thought about Chinese Opera when I thought about Chinese Culture. I always rather thought of their food, buildings and traditional clothing! I would love to see that mihoyo will put in more culture of each regions origin in each region, so people get more invested not only in the game but also learn about different cultures.
Also since I'm from Germany, Mondstadt will always have a special sentiment to me!
It seems Shenhe's grandparents were from Natlan.
