One thing I didn't really mention or explore in the video is more than one
other cryo unit. Since Shenhe gives the quill to everyone, it would be a
good way to make them last longer.
Imagine trying to build a cryo support with very niche kit as a main DPS hahahaha what are you a caveman? 😂😂👏🏾
Pointless but advice for the boss: I find it helpful to break the walls before they jump on them bc then they can’t do that attack which kinda ruins the fight for me at least so that’s my advice. Bring a claymore if you can since they break the walls in like 3 hits (itto’s cow breaks them immediately lmao 😂)
her icy quills also work with anemo units who infuse their burst with element, like sucrose burst or venti burst

Flat DMG increase is added second. So it’s (ATK x ATK scaling + Flat DMG increase) x DMG bonus x Crit DMG
She has pretty good damage I can hit 30k with E at level 70
I see 80k charge atk of Ayaka.
I'm pretty sure her additional damage gets added during the flat attack part of the calculation, and gets modified by things like the triggering character's cryo damage bonus and crit damage and sutff. Which is why it's a bigger boost to Ayaka than say like Diona (although seeing Diona hit like 10k paws is pretty freaking funny). Edit: Also, if you get her to C6, I want to see how she does turning random characters into main cryo dps. Like, using Chongyun to make Zhongli or Keqing into an insane cryo dps 😉
I was thinking, maybe the taritsa or cryo archon will be the cryo catalyst character.

Dumb question, I know, but… How do you know when you crit?
Shenhe has a weird niche even amongst cryo units that she buffs: because she offers extra scaling to skill/aa dmg to characters she can make use of their crit dmg/cryo dmg scaling even unique buffs like extra auto atk/charged atk multipliers. Added on top is the fact that her buff only persists for a certain number of hits. This means that her perfect demographic is someone who has low ratio, high stats and is a single target dps. That doesn’t exist for cryo yet, ganyu charge shot is too high base scaling and hits in a massive aoe, Ayaka has low scaling but hits too many times. So far she is really just good with Chongyun but his base performance is limiting. Interesting concept of balancing but once they release a character that fits her portfolio this character can take them to the moon.

albedo not doing damage agesnt shilds isnt a bug. albedo blossem only proc when mobs take damage. it can be any kind of damage. but if the mob dont take damage the blossem do not procc. its ritten in his skill dicription

I love to play shen with chon 🙂 i jot constantly 9K Atacks goes up to 11K caused by chon elemental skill. If you run snow set on her it gives extra crit on attacking cryo + cryo resinence (+18% Glad) mine got 56 crit rate 125 crit dmg 3900 Atack
I really think since you got crit rate through Set and team comb you don't need to focus on that so go for Atack % it scales better with her burst
Shen’s bonus works like Bennett’s except it doesn’t appear on the character sheet because it’s a bonus rather than an ATK buff (therefore Bennett still contributes to the buff and doesn’t overdo ATK).
Hyper simplified
Ayaka attacks > Shen + Benny > Cryo Bonus > C DMG > resistances applied > number is generated.
I've done like 30 pulls "try to get Yunjin" hoping I would "accidentally pull Shenhe" even tho I don't have anybody I can run w her… I got neither
i always go after cryo first and ignore electro on walls lol cryo goes down fast enough and then I focus electro cuz hes off the walls now

ayaka's charged has multiple hits… are the hits counted separately in regards to shenhe's trigger quota or is one charged one trigger no matter how many enemies/hits u get in?
I honestly was convinced to pull for her until I read the hit quotas.
