It`s time to check how well will Genshin Impact run on my Samsung S22 Ultra Exynos 2200 version using the Samsung Game Optimizing Service and running with the GOS service disabled!

I have the Samsung S22 Ultra Exynos 2200 version and I am using the CCSWE App Manager to disable the Game Optimizing Service

  1. One thing i noticed is with GSO turned off the CPU usage is lower but frame rates drop, with it enabled CPU usage increases (becase the CPU's are running lower clocked) but graphics performance increases. This is an asumption on my part but i suspect what it does is throttles the CPU's and diverts power to the GPU instead.

  2. Possibly you did something wrong.. At least 3 youtubers dissabled properly the gos for exynos and sd model and in tbe same game the avg fps increased by 10%++(50++fps)

  3. i tried golden retrievers way of disabling GOS and used it on S21 Ultra Exynos Edition i can definitely say that at the highest settings it was able to play smoothly as my iPhone but it does heat up fast.

  4. I watched a comparison last night of the Exynos 2100, SD888, Kirin 900 and A14 and the metric that was rather important was wattage. The SD888 and Kirin 900 both averaged the highest FPS in this game, while the Exynos came in 3rd and the A14 in last.
HOWEVER, the SD888 maintained 7-8 watts, the Kirin 900 also did 7-8 watts (Staying closer to 8), and the Samsung running GOS kept it between 4-6 watts with it hitting 4 watts pretty often. The A14 was 4-5 watts with occasional spikes to 6.

SO, the GOS service is definitely doing extra work to keep stable FPS and thermals while also reducing battery consumption. If you're mad about GOS then you would be mad about battery, or you should just be logically mad at the SoC for managing itself also.

  5. It's not lagging a bit, that exynos 2200 is just so poor in performance that it deserves to be in midrange lineup. Snapdragon 865+ note20ultra variant is still the best for gaming, stable performance, doesn't throttle even long sessions of gaming

  6. I use GOS to lower the graphics of games that i usually can not in game so i can have a smoother experience. Don't need to run everything at max. I just need to gane a good frame rate so my phone doesn't overheat. I like the GOS

  7. i'm glad the exynos is finally dead and burried, next s-series will have the snap throughout all models!
i'm seriously hating my s22, it feels like a budget phone performance wise and even my pixel 6 which is obviously not a gamer phone, manages to run everything from emulator to cod and apex legends just way better!
if you want a compact and powerful gaming phone nowadays, i think the zenfone 9 is the perfect one to get.
