  1. The animation you saw that played after the Version 1.4 trailer was actually a cutscene that played in-game, not a recap. Windblume was an adorable event, and I think it might come back this year (but not too sure on that). One thing's for sure though, if an event is well-received, it's due to make a comeback (much like how Windtrace came back in the 2.4 update. Players LOVE Windtrace).

You're right, Barbara and Jean are sisters! Jean is the older and Barbara is the younger. Another sibling duo is Ayaka and Ayato (who is unreleased, but he'll be coming soon). And then we've got our nephew and aunt duo, Chongyun and Shenhe. Diluc and Kaeya, on the other hand, are not siblings. They're actually representative of a trope in Chinese literature/media known as "Sworn brotherhood" which is not familial. Kaeya isn't adopted. In the case of Kaeya, he was only taken in by Diluc's father, but not adopted. There have been many, many CN players who have confirmed it as a mistranslation.

The voice you heard in the Version 1.6 trailer was Alice. Alice is Klee's mother, and she hasn't yet made an appearance in-game, but she's the one who wrote the Teyvat Travel Diary, so I'd recommend reading that to get a feel for her character. Let's just say that once you read it, you'll see where Klee got her chaotic nature from 😂

Not sure if you've played through the character story quests yet but there are some amazing ones, and the hangout events are also a great way to learn more about characters. The only Version Trailers you missed were the ones for Version 2.3, Version 2.4 and Version 2.5 (2.4 and 2.5 could contain spoilers depending on how far you've made it into the story, but 2.3 is a limited event so no worries there).

I've been playing ever since Version 1.0, only a few days after launch, and I think my favorite versions by far have been Versions 1.6 and 2.4, while Shadows Amidst Snowstorms (released in Version 2.3) was my top favorite event. Also, if you love the music in this game, there was a huge live concert released back in 2021 for the anniversary, and it covers many of the tracks from Mondstadt and Liyue. It's available here on YouTube so you can check it out anytime. I think seeing your reaction on the concert would be great!

  2. Take your time with this game. There's no replay function, and once you raise your world level, you can only ever lower it by one, and there's a steep increase in difficulty at certain points.

  3. I joined during Windblume myself and even I get frustrated/sad at all the things I missed… Hopefully all the events people missed will be rerun at some point!
My favourite patches so far have been 1.4 Windblume Festival, 1.6 Midsummer Island Adventure (seriously the hype I felt for this patch was only surpassed by 2.0, if even that…), of course 2.0 when they released Inazuma and finally 2.4 Fleeting Colours in Flight. The next patch I'm most excited for will be 2.6 with the Chasm… And then let's hope we get Sumeru in the patch after that??
Either way, the most impactful patches for me have been 1.4 and 2.4 in which both made me cry during their festival ending cutscenes… They just did so well with the storylines and like, bringing all the characters together is just so beautiful.

  4. If you haven't unlocked the Azhdaha battle yet, you need to finish both of Zhongli's character quests, he's a weekly boss along with Dvalin and Childe. Same with the upcoming Raiden battle, it will be a new weekly battle but only unlocked after finishing both of Raiden's character quests. Boreas, the giant wolf, is also unlocked with Razor's quest.

The Eng VA for Venti is Erika Harlacher, who, if you ever played Persona 5, voices Ann Takamaki and Elizabeth in the dub of The Seven Deadly Sins

Might be some spoilers but the area is now gone. so it's probably fine

The creepy ladies voice from that speaker in the Midsummer Island trailer was actually Alice, Klee's mother, lol, she set the whole thing up for Klee to have fun. Dodoco is also that little doll she is carrying around. Also fun fact, that whole set of islands came from Venti tossing a piece of land into the ocean way back lol
