I think in character demo videos you should pause to read the little bubble of text next to their name. it's both funny and it gives a general feel for the characters.
side note: the bubble nahida was stuck in, it was originally made to be locked and unlocked from the inside. made for the archon to medidate on her own and to not be disturbed. they simply removed the control on the inside to transform the archon's creation against the newer archon. Here is some not so fun "fun fact" for y'all.
