  2. Personal rating:
Mondstadt: 7/10, I kinda liked how we started the journey and met all these normal characters that helped us understand the world in some way and how every existing brain-dead simple thing worked + last quest was cool with Stormterror :p.

Liyue: 6/10, ALL OF THEM WERE FU CKING BORING, ONLY THE LAST ONE SAVES IT BECAUSE IT WAS COOL WITH THE ANCIENT GOD FIGHTING AND STUFF.

Inazuma: 8/10, I loved them so much, they were so cool, especially the fights with Raiden and we also started becoming stronger and stuff.

Sumeru: 4/10, Istg they were so boring, the only thing that was entertaining for me was the plan to get to Scara and fight him while also freeing Nahida but it wasn't that cool and it was the only thing I actually paid attention to.

Fontaine: 10/10, c'mon, we all know it has the bestest archon quests as a region, every fighting system was cool and the courts with Furina were somewhat entertaining :p.

  3. Mondstadt – 8.5/10
As an introduction to the world and how it works, it does a very solid job.

    Liyue 5/10
Severe pacing issues ruin this questline which had so much potential making it an unpleasant reading experience.

    Inazuma 2.5/10
Worst quest by far. Filled with inconsistencies throughout the story and an even worse pacing issue than Liyue's story quest. The start was pretty good with Ritou, describing how Inazuma actually is and how it operates. After that it just falls off a cliff, the things that were completely unnecessary to the story took ages and the most important bits were rushed through rapidly. It sucks because it had such a nice base to it with so much potential to be one of the bests. It feels like they spent more time on the side quests than the main one… Anyone who rates this a 5+ should seriously reconsider redoing the archon quest and discovering its major flaws. I get that inazuma has some of the favorite characters including mines too but that doesn't warrant it getting a pass with its shit main story. Which is the only bad thing about Inazuma overall.

    Sumeru 9/10
Very interesting story but can be very slow/boring to some. So i understand if people rate it lower.

    Fontaine 11/10
Nothing much to say about it

  4. Mondsant: 6/10, okay it was the first region I can't be too picky.
Liyue: 4/10, boring but at least playable.
Inazuma: -10/10, Did I need to explain this? I only save some cutscenes
    Sumeru: 9.5/10, beautiful
    Fontaine: still playing that

Having the feel of Natlan would be a mix Sumeru and Fontaine in terms of quality and storytelling

  6. Thé archon quest of inazuma was disappointing but the other quests in inazuma were pretty good (island quests and raiden quests) and Fontaine is one that I really love. It makes me feel good that I continued to play genshin not just for gameplay.

  7. Actually I’d rate the monstadt quest -10000000/10, it was so bad and boring that I had to spam click the screen because the cutscenes were so fricking boring

  8. Mondstat: 5/10 good intro for new players, but from a writing standpoint, it was nothing. Hoping for a mondstat map increase when we get snezhnya though.
Liyue : 1/10 We literally did nothing. All we did was talk to some adepti and collect stuff.
Inazuma: 2/10 Less boring than liyue but still boring. Though I like the traveller involvement.
SUMERU : 7/10 Wish there was more traveller involvement during the scaramouche acts. But I mean, it was fun.
Fontaine : 7/10 It was.. fine. But I hated the meriopide section, we got imprisoned for something that wasn’t even our fault.. Also Childe’s trial was just.. stupid.

  10. Imo, all of the archin quests suffer from big issues that hold them back. Mondstadt has pretty poorly thought out and arranged scenes, with characters standing around giving exposition dumps. Liyue builds up the final boss as a large threat (major sonic adventure vibes too) only for it to be a boring tower defense sequence. Inazuma has a great setting, great music and a lot of potential in its characters, especially raiden Ei. However, the fact that genshin is a gacha game means that no one idea can get as much attention as it needs, and so if felt undercooked despite having the best bosses and atmosphere. Sumeru has the worst pacing in any game I've ever played. The setup and dynamics were amazing, but the pacing completely drowned out the rest, turning the entire quest into a slog. Fontaine has strong characters, but it relies too much on simply one upping what came before, Childe vs Nevuilette being a good example as to how its method of garnering hype is somewhat cheap. I still love genshin for the gameplay and characters, but the overarching story is not its strongest area. This is why we NEED a skip button, because for a large portion of the game, the story isn't worth reading each word of, as the lack of a skip button would suggest.

  11. Am I the only one who disliked Sumeru's archon questline!? I just felt it was so damn confusing and I couldn't really follow anything. Good chance I just need to replay it but the damn fesrival repeating over & over for hours frustrated me to the point of just wanting to be done with the quest which is probably what led to all of the condusion afterwards-

  12. Mondstadt Archon quest was boring, but I really enjoyed how they introduced Signora, which got me hooked on Genshin (6/10). Liyue Archon quest was amazing especially the Jade Chamber battle scenes (8/10). Inazuma was the worst, very difficult and very boring. Kazuha carried that storyline on his broken spine (2/10). Sumeru was mid but Nahida/Scara scene was worth it, also the first time Paimon got sad. I just really hated Sabzeru festival (7/10). Fontaine was the best of all, supporting actor Neuvi knows his job, and the Hydro Queen Furina got the Oscar (10/10).

  13. Mondstadt – 10/10 the story was pretty good.
Liyue- 1/10 I hated the Xiao quest and the Osial fight.
Inazuma – 10/10 I loved the tragic lore behind Ei and Inazuma.
Sumeru – 5/10 the story was mid but I loved the cutscenes so 5.
Fontaine – 10/10 cuz of the strange lore behind the Hydro Dragon (our boi Neuvi).
Natlan – 100/10 i think Natlan will be the best nation.
Snezhnaya – 200/10 – I hope it’ll be Epic asf like Fontaine and Inazuma.
Khaenri’ah – 0/10 I will hate fighting 100 abyss mages in one quest.
