RAIDEN SHOGUN's TEASER REACTION +Breakdown | Genshin Impact "Nightmare" | Honkai World Diva

Genshin Impact Reaction to Raiden Shogun’s “Baal” Character Teaser “Nightmare”| Honkai World Diva / Houkai Sekai No Utahime

So much was shown, but all I can for sure say is,
Get ready for the real impact in the story.
Nagazora Vibes from Honkai Impact 3rd all over again.
I’m just sad after watching this on loop for an hour tbh.

  1. Honesty I feel bad for Baal having eternity is a curse those people around her possibly close friends died and her live for so long can be quite lonely. Making her to change into a cold hearted goddess. That feeling hits in so many levels. Wish you to pull for Baal in the next banner coming soon for version 2.1.

  2. It's not the same mask, but is a Tengu clan mask.

You need to read the lore on the Inazuma weapon ascension material. That oni cahracter's story is on the oni mask material. Explains why they were fighting Baal.

Also no it isn't multiple personality disorder. People are only saying that because of the word Euthymia in her story chapter's title. However, while that is a word used in modern psychology in association with multiple personality disorder, it is not the origin of the word. The word basically just means a state of mind at rest and stillness. Eternal Euthymia just means an eternal state of living without change.

  3. If you wanna know about the three characters I highly suggest checking out the Sangonomiya chronicles book located in your inventory for the Tengu general. The Oni mask weapon materials for the Oni in the middle and the Cleansing Ritual quest for the Kitsune Saijuu. Also the craftable catalyst description (or flavor text. W.e you wanna call it) also has some pieces of lore connected to all of them. Happy hunting 🙂

  4. My theory is just that the one that looks like her is probably the first Electro Archon which is also her mom (would explain y she "chased" for her at the scene, about why they look alike, and about why baal has longevity (demigod) (ofc might be godhood [which hasnt been explained yet by mhy on how godhood from vision holder works])

Some ppl are arguing that "its her past self", but that "chase" just doesnt make sense if so.

Well, we still dont have the full canon so its anyone's interpretations really

also sick Shogun PV x Houkai Sekai No Utahime 🔥

  5. is it just me over-thinking, or do Shogun and Mei share some familiar concepts?

Lost friends > Only her lefts and blaming herself (not sure about this part of Shogun. But Mei's lost Kiana to HoV, Bronya burn her chip to help her free from Cocolia, and her dad.) Shogun > Stick to the way she believes even if that means she must be a sinner.

  6. Im pretty sure the person who baal was chasing after was her mother
    Why i think that?
Its because they mention zhongli and venti were the only originals archon left
Which means baal is the second electro archon
Why baal start the vsion hunt decree?
Its cause she misunderstood what eternity atually really meant
The original archon prob passed away without showing baal what eternity is
So baal just doing what she thinks is right
    What she think eternity is

  7. This whole thing has left so many questions about what is happening and answered nothing. What happened to her friends did they get corrupted like the Yaksha or did something else happen as there looked to be a change and Baal had to cut them down which would be hard to do. Also who was that girl? Was she a older sister/mother to Baal, maybe a previous electro archon? Also is the reason she chases an unchanging eternity so she no longer loses friends and others don't suffer the same fate? So many questions but 0 answers

  8. So the first one to dissappear is a general in the shogun army that died during the war with giant snake i guess? And the second one died during the cataclysm 500 years ago i think she was swallowed then was corrupted than the last one saiguu disappeared in the cataclysm

    My theory is that
Baal is trying to protect her people from feeling something like this i think she wants ertenity to happiness for her people

  9. I don't think this is true at all and there isn't any evidence to support it. My personal headcannon right now is the look a like is a mother or older sister. Venti was a wind spirit, Zhongli is a adeptus before become an archon. What if Baal was a regular human girl named Ei. She unexpectedly became an archon and had to deal with many burden. Only though her friends she was able to handle the burden, but with their death and disappearance she seek for eternity so she won't have any more losses.

  10. The English translation "NOTHINGNESS" "STILLNESS" "Plane of Euthymia" cannot express the Japanese wordings, which are Buddhism terminology.
"NOTHINGNESS" "STILLNESS" = ”Musou”, which means abandon all thoughts, emotion, anxiety or love, to achieve the state of absolute calmness and peace.
You can see Raiden meditating in various cutscene even before our last boss fight in-game.

The red space created by Raiden is called "Plane of Euthymia" = JP version wording is "Paradise of Nirvana", which means the paradise of purity and peace where Buddha exists, and you can arrive this paradise by practicing Musou.
Japanese Genshin Twitter releases Raiden's E skill description and it said E skill is an attack by opening a portal to a glimpse of "Paradise of Nirvana".

Her Q Musou Shinsetsu is the most interesting wording here. Although the pronunciation is the same; this is not the "Musou" mentioned before. The Japanese word here means "Dream", "Musou Shinsetsu" should be translated to "The True Teaching of DREAM". Her katana is named "a sincere heart of Dream".
This is a wording trick in Japanese language. Many different noun share the same pronunciation, so Japanese always play with double meaning. In this case, the noun for "abandon all thoughts" and "Dreaming" sounds the same.
That's why in the story Kazuha and NPCs assume Musou no hito tachi is the katana strike of Nirvana, or Raiden seems to have no emotion pursuing Eternity, or Vision Hunt steal ones' ambition. No one knows Raiden's "Musou" true meaning is Dream, not abandon all thoughts.

  11. All she ever wanted is the true eternity, where vision holders should always be normal people, therefore no mortal should ever go on such heights of suffering and pain on being drunk to power and lose control of themselves. Like those people she once cared for.

  12. I'm sure this is obvious by now but there's a similarity I noticed between the two Raidens that, like a poem, rhymes but isn't quite the same. [HI3rd Spoiler alert, just in case!]

Mei chose to leave her friends and family behind, but Ei had her closest friends and family taken from her.

It makes so much more sense why she'd become obsessed with her goal of an eternity where nothing changes, because all time and progress has done is HURT her. She might even be aware that she's harming her own people, but over the years has become too numb and dead inside from her own pain to care.

  13. Hi UD! How it is going? I once play Genshin for a year but because of family issue that i had made a difficult decision that was to stop playing the game. Now with Baal coming in for the ride, i may download the game just to see what the hype is all about. Thank you for giving me some sort of motivation! Have a good day man!

  15. I personally don't believe the person she was chasing after was her past self at all. At the bottom left of the first few shots, you can already see the umbrella that person was holding and it only disappeared after the Kitsune Saiguu was gone, which is when you see her figure walking away. Judging by her appearance, it's likely it was Baal's sister or mother even, and seeing a family member walking away from her or possibly die was probably the breaking point.

  16. you know wha's funny
when Baal was leaked for the first time ever, i couldnt care less about her
i legit was on a neutral/indifferent position about her the whole time, until they released this teaser.
Initially, i was saving up for Kokomi. Now, want her so bad. May everyone who wishes for her win their 50/50
