So I already know this will get people riled up so lemme clear something up. Yes, Powercreep obviously "exists". The point is, it doesn't matter. Hu Tao is still extremely good, Kazuha is still one of the best characters in the game, alongside Arlecchino and Xilonen. Genshin is not a competitive game, Arlecchino being slightly better means legit nothing. If you "can't" 36 star with Hu Tao so you pull for Arlecchino, my guy that's a straight up skill issue. You can 36 star the abyss with 4 stars only, so there is no "need" for 5 stars based off strength.
When you pull for a character BECAUSE they're good, not because you like/want them, you've lost and game has won. I just want to help people avoid regretful pulls and play the game how THEY want, not how the company wants you to play.
Both of them are good, I like Kazuha for grouping and Xilonen for exploration
Xiolnen can buff more characters quickly then kazuha

I think the only powercreep is Chiori with Albedo

Genshin doesn't even have a hard end game content
New characters are marginally stronger and maybe have some mechanics that makes them more appealing for new and old players in order to sell
But it doesn't render older characters useless because there is no endgame to begin with that needs the extra power to clear
Power creep in Genshin happens in constellations mostly but at that point you are one rotating every enemy in the game so it's all fake power ups
They def exsists, it just they mean nothing in genshin ( an exploration game )
I've only got 2 limited 5* character, raiden and Xilonen, ans sometimes…i do regret pulling, or i reget not pulling for some characters before.. i know it doesn't change anything, and i know i havw to life with my choices…. But… I just feel hopeless sometimes about this game…

Honestly I was really happy when Xilonen came out so I could replace my Kazuha with an equally broken character, but Kazuha is still insane, I just enjoy playing xilonen more rn and am just bored of using Kazuha
I'm definitely going to go back to Kazuha once I get bored of using Xilonen, and repeat that cycle until another broken support comes out that also joins the cycle
I'm not gonna replace Kazuha, even if my Xilonen is better because mine is c2 and my Kazuha is c0, I'm still gonna go back to kazuha in a few months

I adore Xilonen, not sure how to play or level her but ima do the thing I do which is have fun
just wish she could make a construct for geo puzzles

She does Powercreep Kazuha since her numbers are higher, Easier setup since Double swirl is cringe and most importantly she's a Waifu.
BUT KazuGOAT still has grouping.
Heck, You can even play both with Neuvillette to destroy the entire of Teyvat
Does clearing the abyss faster make any difference?
The reward is the same as long as you finish it in time.
Let's say your neuvillette does like 300k+ damage! What then? If i could spend like 300+ dollars per character and then do like 300k damage what's the use? What would i do eith that damage? You can clear abyss with even older characters
It depends on the type of enemy and what it will take to defeat it. Kazuha can't be powercrept; however, both Diluc and Klee could. Bennett is still the best support option out there. Nobody truly cares as long as they're usable.
Now, HI3 is a game where HOV is useless and it's impossible to use any other Kiana version because of the difference in health bar types. You need an astral character or adult Griseo.
I love wriothesley, i am f2p, he is c0, he's not "optimized" in the least, but man do i like looking at his ass, so who cares? Over time i can build him to be stronger, but right now im chilling, i'll keep using my tall male characters that rarely ever are the best units, as an itto fanboy

Personally in Genshin i dont think Power creep really exists. Some characters may be better at some things but since there is no Defined Roles an The way Substats on pieces roll you can make anyone your dps or support etc. Best thing Kazuha has over Xilo at C0 is Crowd control and swirling Xilonen has Healing though which helps me an my team out now im not low health everywhere i go
