  1. Hey, Omar, you can get a 5-Star character in the next 1-6 Pulls you do.
The Grass Child (Nahida) is one of, if not the best character in the game so I'd definitely recommend pulling for her.

  2. 18:53 the game started with mondstadt and liyue. Every few weeks, there are area expansions and every year there is a major nation expansion. 2021 it was Inazuma, 2022 was Sumeru, 2023 was Fontaine and this year will be Natlan.

  3. sees the banners Oh woah!! We're actually living in the present now!! I don't know whether the current events' storyline will contain any spoilers, since we won't get the full story until about 4 days from now, but before you decide to ignore these events you NEED to know: these events are of the Lantern Rite, which is THE biggest event in the game, that is held only once per year, as in once per Real Life year. It is the game's celebration of the Chinese New year, which for this year, falls on February 10th of the Western calendar. It is celebrated a heck of a lot more than Christmas in this Chinese game. If you want to skip it this year for immersion's sake, then that is your choice. But just know that if you do, you will be skipping on a LOT of primogems as well as lots of other juicy prizes. You can unlock the event's games (and their prizes) by completing a relatively short, spoiler-free quest, then you can just play the games and ignore the rest of the event story quest. And if you play the event games, you can earn points that you can use to get a free Liyue 4-star character of your choice (along with a bunch of other prizes).

If you do decided to do the events just far enough to get the free 4-star, then you'll probably see a lot of people recommend that you get Xingqiu. Xingqiu is the undisputed King of hydro-application and one of the most OP characters in the game…in the late game. In early game, he doesn't apply a lot of hydro at all — a heck of a lot less than Barbara even. But he also really benefits from having his constellations. So, up to you whether you want to get him if you do participate in the Lantern Rite event. There's a lot of other characters for you to choose from too. I personally wouldn't recommend getting Yaoyao for her constellations, because Yaoyao is already great at C0 and doesn't need constellations.

Anyways, as always, it's your choice what you want to do in your game, but since this is the biggest in-game event of the year, I think you should have at least some info on what is it that you're choosing, before you make your choice.

As for the current banners…for a new player who is not planning to go to Sumeru until the story takes you there…I'm not sure who to recommend. Nahida is THE best dendro applicator in the game, no other character comes close to doing what she does for dendro-reaction teams. But…this is Genshin, a game that gives you quite a lot of freedom of choice on which characters you want to play, so, no matter how good a character is, technically no character is a must-have. As for Xianyun, her gameplay may be a bit more advanced for a beginner…in combat, but she is OP for exploring the overworld. She lets you travel faster over land, jump higher, glide faster on the windglider. And she's best teammate for Diluc, buffs him a LOT. You seem to really like Diluc from your earlier videos, but since he's a standard banner character, you never know when you'll actually get him. So yeah, again, up to you. You're really getting up there on the pity tho, so you'll be getting a 5-star on maybe the next pull or so. You still might lose the 50/50 though.

As for Final Fantasy 7…yes that IS a good game, both the "ancient" 1997 version and the current remake version. Totally understandable. Have a good day 😀

  4. The waverider can be used to navigate all across Inazuma. As Inazuma has quite a number of major islands, it's your main source of travel in order to get to those islands. Once you unlocked the teleportation points and statue of seven you won't need to use the waverider that much anymore

  5. It's really a shame that you didn't try previous banner characters. Raiden shogun is one of the must pull character in the game .
"I think you should skip this banner and pull for a DPS character in the future banners"

  6. igore everyone! .. very sound. Advice is always for the kind of game they're playing, which probably isn't the game you're playing. And even if it is, it's spoilers for the fun of finding out yourself. I've seen promising play throughs which turn into the player being a robot carrying out instructions from chat.
Having said that .. (## deleted advice about World Levels and Story Quests ## )

  7. i think the skeleton of the main story and the element regions was planned out from the start. The first two regions (Mondstadt and Liyue) were available from the beginning. Each year sees the addition of an Element Region. The latest was the Hydro region. Next will be the Pyro region. The final Element region will be the Cryo region. After that .. dunno .. maybe a visit to Celestia. (Within the Element regions, major and minor sub regions are added).
ps: you appreciate the design in the areas .. so, you might like this documentary video:

  8. Nahida is a top3 best unit in the game, she acts more of an off-field support with her skill and burst, but she can be on-field as well.
She has very good sync with hydro characters, and electro

  9. Xianyun is new and the playstyle she enables other characters to use can be fun, but Nahida is THE dendro character you wanna own andreally strong if you know how to use her. I am not sure she fits into your usual playstyle though…

The boys name is pronounced more like "Ga-Ming"…but we all said Gaming when we read it the first time 😀

About accepting quests: I ddid the same. Accepted everything. Doesn't mean you have to do them right away..actually, my list is still long^^'
But I prefer that over forgetting to get them in the first place…you can do most of them whenever…

The game has major updates every 6 weeks, with a smaller update eveery 3 weeks (So middle of the 6 week gap) Each update progresses the game's story and usually adds new characters to the game

  11. Sucks that you missed the raiden shogun but you should be able to get a 5 star in the next few pulls. Nahida is the best dendro unit in the game. She is a support character who buff dendro reactions, she is nuts if you build her right. Xianyun is perfect for exploration and is a plunge attack buff. Whichever you choose is fine by me(though I'm a bit biased with nahida), both are just great at what they do.

  12. Aside from mondstadt and liyue who've been here since launch, every other region releases once a year. Here's the current timeline:
v1.0 september 2020: genshin impact launches
v.1.1 november 2020: act 1 chapter 3 for liyue is released. Childe weekly boss is available
v1.2 december 2020: dragonspine area is released
v2.0 july 2021: inazuma is released
v2.7 may 2022: chasm is released(a liyue area you haven't been to yet)
v3.0 august 2022: sumeru and dendro is released
v4.0 august 2023: fontaine is released

We can expect the next region, Natlan, to be summer of 2024 and snezhnaya in summer of 2025.

  13. Since inazuma has a lot of water around it, the boats are basically just to make it easier to traverse the area. As you can see the area your on right now is an island with no connections to the rest of inazuma, and it wouldn't really be fun if you had to spend 20 minutes freezing half the ocean to slowly get to the rest of inazuma right? so use the boat instead to explore the rest of inazuma and any other islands around big or small that you may encounter on your travel.

  14. Gaming [gah-ming] is really good and really fun to play – pull on the current banner just to get him if you don't get a 5 star lol [definitely not me coping with the fact I have gotten 5 Gamings and no Faruzan to complete my c6 Faruzan every time I pull on this banner]. Also yeah losing the 50/50 to Mona would definitely be cool since she is Hydro AND she is great for exploration with her water sprint, which is super useful in Inazuma.
