I think… well, actually; it's more like HOPE that Focalors is the main villain and the people are planning to rebel against her and possibly an incredibly corrupt judicial system she might have set up.
And to maybe add onto her being a villain… maybe she uh, killed the previous Hydro Archon as well? 👀
…But I REALLY hope it isn't a Shogun/Ei situation, where Focalors has some alter ego and that her true self didn't know of any of this and so she's completely innocent 🥺

i wonder if fontaine will look fancy and romantic like paris, or if it will have a steampunk concept since they’re known for being engineers/inventors and for liking mechanical things… im really curious. i hope it exceeds my expectations because out of all the nations my highest expectation is for fontaine, in terms of visuals and gameplay mechanics.
Liben foreshadowed what will happen to traveler upon our arrival in Fontaine like we will almost certainly get accused of/caught up in something & have to prove our innocence, leading to a misunderstanding between us & the hydro archon or the reason/how we come to meet her (in her court). That was what crossed my mind when he first said, "I suggest you refrain from going there lest you get yourself into trouble that you can't easily get out of". I believe the justice system in Fontaine might be being abused & many innocents wrongly accused. Why else would he act like it's so easy to get in harm's way if you're not doing anything wrong? The God of Wisdom honestly sounds like an even more extreme version of Raiden.
I still want to see NPCs from Natlan. They are still the only Nation without any NPCs in game currently.
Guess after raiden, we might fight focalore as well. I hope we fight the remaining strong archons including tsaritsa.
GUYS, hear me out! I have a strong feeling that instead of Focalor kill the previous archon, she did NOT! Focalor was believed to have killed the previous archon and everyone (including us) believed it which explains why she’s hiding and chapter name MASQUERADE OF THE GUILTY, because she’s guilty! Looks like we’re about to rescue another archon.
