Natlan is set to be the next region revealed in Genshin Impact this year, with its arrival just two patches away. Version 5.0 is slated to usher in Natlan’s debut, scheduled for release on August 28th, only three months from now.

Neuvillette shared that The Captain has entered the fray in Natlan, indicating major events unfolding. This implies our awaited meeting with Il Capitano. According to ProjectENKA, Natlan will host three Fatui Harbingers: Columbina, Capitano, and Dottore. Only Columbina will be playable, rumored to be a Cryo character with a sword, expected in version 5.3.

Now let’s talk about the other characters. Iansan is confirmed to appear in version 5.0, and she appeared in the teyvat Chapter Storyline Preview.

Team China’s trustworthy sources have disclosed the count of playable characters hailing from Natlan. The leak reveals plans for 10 new characters to join the fray during the Natlan storyline. In terms of diversity, each in-game character model will feature one child model, five medium-sized female models, and one tall female model. On the male front, Natlan will see the introduction of only three playable characters, with two sporting medium builds and one featuring a tall model. Additionally, there’s speculation of potential further additions to the playable character roster.

Xbalanque is the only male characters from Natlan we are aware of right now, and he appears to have a medium male model. Xbalanque is expected to be the most powerful character from Natlan, which is why many players think that he might be the pyro sovereign or pyro dragon. Xbalanque will be an adult male character with a Pyro vision, and he is also rumored to have dark skin.

Some time ago, Team Mew showcased concept art for the Pyro Archon. Later, Team China revealed preliminary details about her weaponry and abilities. However, it’s worth noting that these details are subject to change. According to them, she’ll wield a Pyro polearm and have an Elemental Skill allowing her to navigate terrain uniquely. Similar to previous Archons, she’s expected to debut in version 5.2, after Natlan’s Archon quest wraps up.
