We have received some new information about one of the most mysterious characters from Fontaine, Emilie. If you don’t know, she’s a perfumer and designer who is friends with Chiori and many other characters from Fontaine. She was not expected to come anytime soon, but recent info suggests that Hoyoverse might officially reveal her in the upcoming drip marketing, which is expected to drop on June 3rd, two days before the version 4.7 release.

Coming back to our topic: A reliable source called ProjectENKA has claimed that we will get to see Emilie in the next drip marketing post. She is expected to be a 5-star Dendro character, and her weapon is unknown at the moment, but according to rumors, she might be a catalyst user. Her being a catalyst user might turn out to be true since she’s a perfume designer. We have only four Dendro 5-star characters so far, so there’s a good chance that she’s a Dendro character.

Moving on to her kit info: According to Uncle K, Emilie scales on attack and will be an off-field unit. However, her role is still not confirmed, so we don’t know whether she will most likely be a support or an off-field DPS. They also said that Baizhu will get better after Emilie’s release, as her attack-scaling kit is related to burning reactions, and Baizhu will get better after her release. Initially, she was expected to be released in version 4.8 as the latest 5-star, and she still is, but now there are some rumors that she will be a 4-star character. However, in their post about Emilie, Project ENKA mentioned that Emilie would be a 5-star character.

Except for her concept art, no other info has been shared by reliable sources. Since Fontaine’s release, many concept arts of Emilie have been circulating in the community: However, you should keep in mind that those concept arts are not final designs, and the actual design may be completely different.

Other info shared by hxg_diluc reveals that version 4.8 will feature the annual summer event. The 4.8 update will introduce a new limited-time area, and it is expected to reveal some lore related to the Hexenzirkel. One more thing, we might even get to ride a dragon, which will be a test for an upcoming exploration system in Natlan. This summer event will be organized by one of the Hexenzirkel Witches, and this information is reliable since all of the previous editions of the summer events were organized by Alice.

According to the info, Wanderer, Navia, Nilou, Kirara, and Durin are expected to appear in the summer event in version 4.8. So some of these characters like Navia and Nilou might get their reruns. Other than these two, Wriothesley and Shenhe have good chances of appearing on the banners, and I would say the chances are more than 90%, so if you want any of these characters, you should save some primogems.

Moving on to the skins. Hoyoverse is expected to release three new skins in version 4.8: two for 5-star characters and one for a 4-star character. Wanderer and Nilou are the 5-star characters who are expected to get their skins in 4.8, as for the 4-star character: it will be Kirara. Similar to version 4.4, Hoyoverse will give Kirara’s skin for free during the main event, and you can buy the other two skins with Genesis Crystals.

Since there’s no news about the chronicled wish banner in 4.7, I’m guessing we would get it in version 4.8, since characters like Ganyu and Kokomi still haven’t gotten their reruns. But, I might be wrong, and instead of Navia, Hoyo might rerun Kokomi in the 4.8 banners, and put Ganyu on the chronicled wish banner, which makes sense.
