Honestly, Arlecchino has to be one of the most eagerly awaited characters in Fontaine patches. but let’s be real – we’re always excited about the Fatui members. As we approach the conclusion of version 4.4, with the live stream already behind us, our anticipation is now focused on the upcoming drip market which is set to happen on Monday. We’ve covered Arlecchino in my previous video, so you likely have an idea about her kit, playstyle, and other aspects. We haven’t really talked about her weapon or anything yet, since we had no information about it. but thanks to Uncle K, the person who leaked information about Arlecchino previously, has revealed the details about her weapon yesterday. according to the latest info from uncle k, During her charged attack, Arlecchino switches her signature polearm to a scythe. while other characters retain their polearm’s original appearance when using. Let me simplify it for you. The weapon’s look stays the same when other characters use it, so this effect might be exclusive to Arlecchino. for example, If you give Arlecchino’s signature weapon to Hu Tao, the polearm won’t transform into a scythe. It’s a unique feature only for Arlecchino. if Arlecchino’s unique ability is tied to her charged attack and her signature weapon, using other polearm weapons may not fully unlock or utilize her potential. This means that if you want to achieve the maximum damage output with Arlecchino, you may need to obtain and use her specific signature weapon rather than relying on other polearm options. if you’re a free-to-play player or someone who doesn’t spend much, this might not be great news for you. It could mean you’ll need to pull for her specific weapon. Let’s hope she still performs well with other polearm options too. but anyway, uncle k provided more details on why the weapon’s appearance doesn’t change when other characters use it. They mentioned that the scythe is a special effect exclusive to Arlecchino’s own ability, though they admitted they’re not entirely certain about it. they also suggested that among various weapons, Arlecchino’s signature weapon is the one that complements or aligns best with the specific special effect being discussed. In other words, out of all the available weapons, Arlecchino’s unique weapon seems to be the most suitable or appropriate for the mentioned special effect. Arlecchino could have the ability to change her fighting style, possibly by using dual blades at certain times. The mention of a “stance change” in her kit implies that she might switch between different combat forms. for example from scythe to dual blades. In a previous video, we didn’t know about whether this change in stance would be triggered by a skill or a charged attack. However, with the latest information, it is now clarified that the stance change will occur specifically during her charged attack. i will definitely pull for her after pulling for nuevillette.
