Version 5.1 will go live on October 9th, the same day as my birthday (not that it’s important or anything), but before that, Hoyoverse will host the special Livestream program for version 5.1 this Friday, on September 27th. In this video, I’m going to share all the details about what you can expect from the special program, including the 5.1 banners, total number of primogems, events, redeem codes, and more.

Starting with the redeem codes: During the livestream, the developers will release three exclusive redeem codes, worth 300 primogems and other in-game resources. However, you need to redeem these codes as soon as possible because they usually expire after 16 hours. But don’t worry, even if you miss the special program, I’ll post the codes on my channel as well as on the Discord server, so make sure to subscribe and turn on notifications. This special program will be similar to the 5.0 live stream, as the developers will be hosting this special program and not the chibi characters.

Moving on to the banners: The 5.1 banners are looking pretty good at the moment, as Xilonen and Chiori are expected to appear in phase one banners, while in phase two, Nahida and Hu Tao are expected to appear. Xilonen is a 5-star geo sword character, and she’s going to be a support and a sub-DPS unit. During the livestream, we will get to see her official kit and gameplay, which is pretty unique, so make sure you don’t miss it.

Moving on to the events: The main event of 5.1 is called Chromatic Ode of Candies and Roses, which will take place in Sumeru along with the Sabzeruz festival. We will get 1,000 primogems and a free 4-star character, Candace, along with a Crown of Insight and some other level-up materials. Aside from the main event, we will get four mini-events called Feast of Pursuit, Reminiscent Regimen, Aphid Treasure Trace, and everyone’s favorite, the Marvelous Merchandise event.

Moving on to the number of primogems in 5.1: According to the data provided by beta testers, we will be able to get around 10,735 primogems in version 5.1 as a free-to-play player, which is equivalent to 67 wishes. Now, this is a low number considering it’s only the second patch of Natlan, but it makes sense because we aren’t getting any new maps or areas like we used to in past regions. So don’t spend all of themβ€”save some for future characters.

Other than these, we will get a sneak peek of Natlan’s Archon Quest Acts 3 & 4, along with Xilonen’s story quest. And now the most important thing: Hoyoverse might introduce us to some new characters like Xbalanque and Ifa. We haven’t seen Xilonen and Ororon in the game yet, so I’m excited for them too. Hoyoverse might also reveal some new quality-of-life changes, so don’t forget to watch the livestream.
