New Update! 4.7 Banners and New Abyss! Clorinde Release, Furina Rerun – Genshin Impact

In today’s video, I will discuss the upcoming 4.7 update, covering news about possible banners, new characters, and a new type of Abyss in this version.

Patch 4.7 is scheduled for release on June 5th, with a special program for this version expected around May 24th. Therefore, we have plenty of time ahead, so take this information with a grain of salt.

Let’s start with the most recent information. Just yesterday, we received new information from Fy Leaks. This source suggests that we will get a new type of Abyss in the next version. Details are not specified, but they told that it will feature one room per floor.

I’m not sure if it will resemble something like a 13th floor, or if it will be a separate addition to the Abyss. Many players, like myself, don’t clear all floors in the Abyss, and developers likely have data indicating that. So, perhaps they will introduce something easier or quicker version to clear. The source also mentioned that opinions on this new feature will be divided. For now, all we can do is speculate and wait until we receive more information about it.

Now, let’s talk about the new characters.

Arlecchino has already been announced, and we should expect the drip marketing for new characters on April 22nd. As you may have heard, Clorinde and Sigewinne were supposed to be new characters for version 4.7, but there have been recent changes.

Clorinde is still set to debut in 4.7, but Sigewinne’s place will be taken by Sethos, a new character from Sumeru whom we will meet in Cyno’s second story quest in version 4.6. Sethos, a Dendro character, has a medium-sized male body and uses a bow. I think everyone have already heard about mummy girl from Sumeru. So in my opinion Sethos is that mummy girl that everyone talked about. Daga otoko da.

Clorinde will be a 5-star character, while Sethos will be a 4-star.

Interestingly, we don’t have much information about the abilities of Clorinde or Sethos.
Of course, we have some info about Clorinde. She is currently DPS unit focused on Overload reaction, but her kit has undergone several changes. She transitioned from being an off-field character to one with energy-related kit. I even remember some info about her having a dash mechanic similar to Yelan’s E. Therefore, it’s best to wait until the 4.7 beta, which will start after the 4.6 release, around April 24th to 26th.

There are also rumors circulating about the 4.7 banner, although they are more speculative and based on patterns and logic, which may differ from what miHoYo will actually do. The rumored banners include Clorinde and Sethos as the two new characters, Furina rerun with her second story quest, Wriothesley, and possibly someone like Shenhe.

  13. Like, what do you mean why new spiral abysss?
    Im on floor 9th chamber 3rd and i started playing game like 4 months ago so i don't know that much

    All those stars will reset?
    Will i be able to claim those primos again?

  14. There is no way in hell the new abyss-like content will be hard when all their recent updates cater to either illiterate or straight up just blind people.

    Good thing is it doesn't have to be hard. Genshin just needs anything at all at this point.

  25. Why do I feel like Hoyo will disapoint with Genshin again and this "new" abyss is a similar mechanic to HSR where if you clear floor 12 you get all the previous rewards as well

    It won't be anything crazy like a new end game mode like Pure Fiction or SU
