i hope everyone enjoyed the lantern rite festival. the story was well written, wasnโ€™t it? Now, The first half of 4.4 is almost over so We will soon see the banners of xiao and yae miko in the second phase. Even though we still have one more phase remaining, we already know almost everything about the next update. Thanks to the 4.5 beta, which was released right after 4.4 went live, we now have almost all the information about the upcoming update, including events, the new character, reruns, the new regional banner, total primogems, and more. Remember, 4.5 is a filler update, meaning there will be no new map, archon quest or even dainsleif quest. So donโ€™t expect much from this update.
But anyway, in this video, we will quickly go over the things you can expect from the upcoming update 4.5. So letโ€™s get started.
Starting with the livestream, it will be held on March 1st, 2024. Basicaly, They will reveal three codes during the stream, each worth 100 primogems. Act quick though, since they expire fast! You can Find the codes on my community page right after the livestream. During the livestream, weโ€™ll learn about new character, new banner, reruns, events, and more. You will be able to watch the livestream on Genshin impactโ€™s twitch and youtube account.
Now, letโ€™s talk about the new character we will see. Version 4.5 will introduce, Chiyori, a 5-star Geo sword user. Weโ€™ve already seen her drip marketing on Twitter, as well as her gameplay and kit. Her burst looks amazing visually, placing her in the top tier. A few days ago, we received a new leak suggesting that Chiyori would be part of the standard character pool after 4.5. This leak hinted at a significant nerf, which as you know, I canโ€™t discuss in detail. However, the leak was later confirmed to be false. she will not join the standard banner. In my opinion, she doesnโ€™t seem like a standard character, even if her attack and defense stats have decreased. That doesnโ€™t imply sheโ€™ll join the standard banner; sheโ€™s a support, not a DPS.
Anyway, alongside Chiyori, Itto will also have a banner. So, both Itto and Chiyori will get banners in the first phase. The second phase will feature Kazuha and Neuvillette. In addition to these banners, Mihoyo will introduce a new banner in this patch called the โ€œMondstadt Banner,โ€ featuring characters from Mondstadt only. We will see the return of Eula, Klee, Albedo, and their weapons. Iโ€™m not sure if this new banner will include archons, as they are considered overpowered. so i donโ€™t think they will add archons in this banner. But letโ€™s see how things go.
Now, letโ€™s talk about the events. As always, weโ€™ll have four events โ€“ one major event and three smaller ones. The major event, Alchemical Ascension, is the highlight, offering 1000 primogems, a free 4-star weapon, materials for refining the weapon to R5, and various useful items. The other three smaller events are The Great Fayz Reaction Debate, Feline Fortress Furrdyssey, and Rolling Crossfire, each giving 420 primogems.
The total number of primogems a free-to-play player can obtain in version 4.5 is almost 8,880, equivalent to 55 wishes. You can get 32 wishes in the first phase and 22 in the second phase, based on data extracted from the beta. If you are a Welkin Moon subscriber, you can receive 81 wishes, with 45 wishes available in the first phase.

  8. The regional banner confuses me so much, so if you have time could you please answer my questions?
    1. So from what I understood there are 2 normal banners like always and a regional banner, right?
    2. does this regional banner features all character from a region or just some?
    3. Will it have something like the thing on the weapon banner? ( I forgot the name of it but what I mean is this, you can loose 2 times and then the next one is the one you want thing)
    4. If the sig weapon of the characters from the regional banner are also there, how does this work?
    5. Will the regional banner just be for one phase, a whole version or how long?
    If something of this is not leaked yet, then thatโ€™s ok, just wanted to ask ๐Ÿ™‚

  24. Its is my worst possible nightmare because ive been wanting kazuha and neuvillette for so long and theyre both!!! Together!!! ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ I don't have that much wishes or any luck. Im so torn in between im close to 90 wishes idk what to do. Welp i don't have any 5 star other than mona from standard banner… I need them both.
