A note on the boxcutter on Layla & Kirara: they're perhaps not Burst-dependent as I phrased it, but rather their Bursts have benefits (e.g. proccing tenacity/noblesse/deepwood more consistently, elemental application, etc.) that encourage building them with enough ER to Burst regularly. Of course, if you just need their Skill shields, then ER is less of a concern!
I went for the tome and got Harp and Homa 1 box cutter and 1 chain saw and no pulls left for the guaranteed Tome.😂 I’m not so mad since I can put harp on Fischl and Homa on Xiangling when her build is more solid on crit rate and er

Neuvillette's weapon works fine and fairly improved my only Dendro DPS Baizhu build along with Kuki, Xingqiu and Fischl. You may need to get used to with the proper timing to utilize the weapon's buff to work properly.
In short: those new weapons have more cons than pros, as per YoHoYo new trend. Thanks for the guide Sevy!
I ended up trying to grind for the weapons on water dragon boys banner and got pretty much nothing. And then I tossed a few random pulls into Rizzley's banner and got primordial Jade wing spear. So im def not mad😅
Ouch you're right, I tried to aim for Homa but got the Tome instead. It's been the 2nd time Homa has evaded me 🙁

Hp sword for Layla she has 50k HP now.
Tell me why i wished for the Attack on Titan sword and the game refused to give it to me. I got R2 of the Claymore, R4 of the Fischl bow (never had it), and multiple of other 4 star weapons. Ended up getting an early Staff Of Homa accidentally on the 50/50. Making my 2nd Homa in 100 wishes not guaranteed. Zhongli and HuTao no longer have to fight over it. 😅
Got the new polearm to r4 while pulling for Wrio's signature and… Yeah. It would be nice if I didn't already have Homa and two primordial jade winged spears on my account. But for younger accounts I'd say it could be useful. It's getting hard to be excited about 4* weapons at a certain point. Suffering from success, I guess.
…. although, as a Yoimiya haver who had been stuck on r2 Rust for the longest time up until pretty recently (i dunno why, that weapon just hates me), i wouldn't say there is no possible 4* that would make me excited. But the bar is pretty high.

with the new hp sword, my C6 layla has 50k+ hp and all i have to do in co op is burst and use my skill , truly peak gameplay
Went into the neuvillette weapon banner hoping to get at least one of the box cutters and his weapon, got a (not new) jade spear, his weapon, AND R10 BOXCUTTER. All in like 90 pulls! It was insane

I love how Sevy cant do leaks so she just pans Furina when she talks about "characters that can do hp% manipulation in the future" a neat easter egg
It should be noted that Prospector's Pike is particularly good for Yaoyao in Quicken scenarios, even better than the Catch at equal refines.

I made a 10 pull and got the hp sword. as a nilou enjoyer I got everything I wanted.
controversial take: portable power saw works for Kaveh in a Kaveh bloom team. yes, the HP% mainstat is useless, but hear me out: the 3 stacks in the weapon's passive already give him more elemental mastery at R4 than mailed flower at R5 😱 only "disadvantage" is that you need to be healed 3 times to gain those 3 stacks first, but this shouldn't be a problem once Furina is released. also, if you happen to have Biazhu, this already works beautifully!
