I'm just going to say it outright. Neuvillette is so strong, but because of his dps potential, but because of his insane self sustain. The ability to no have a dedicated defense character is ridiculous and the fact that Neuvillette enables this as a dps is crazy.
A though just popped up in my mind:
Can you use the Sourcewater Droplets, that Hydro MC produces with Neuvilette?

I call them Rio (Because Wrio) & NVL.
He’s not a hypercarry tho. We don’t have hp buffers or a hydro faruzan, so in his best teams he’s paired with units like fischl, beidou etc so he’s not “carrying” the team. He may deal a lot of damage but his damage is less than 50% of the total team dps. Hypercarry is someone like xiao where you build a team around him with faruzan & Bennett for example that deal almost no damage on their own, just to buff that one unit that contributes 70-90% of the total team dps. Neuvilette is different so the term you used for the video can be very misleading 🙂
I think an interesting team would be Neuvillette, Beidou, Bennet and Kazuha. With Bennet's Burst you could also get Reverse-Vaporize Reactions in addition to Electro-Charge off Beidou's Burst, while her Shield also gives Interruption resistance. All while Kazuha causes Swirls to make them deal even more damage. Beidou would need really high ER%, but that's basically what the Emblem of Severed Fate is for anyway.
I think he synergies extremely good with kokomi🧐

Beidou's ult provides electro reactions with charged attacks, and provides a shield.

Come on man, Dehya was terrible so power creep=good? Hot take but I think we could simply have units that don't fall into either extreme, people were hyped for Dehya pre-release, all she had to be was not be the worst character in the game and fans would have been happy

The heal from the sourcewater droplets is very good so you don't have to worry about healing
He doesnt need c1 imo layla exists
But he doesn't do as much damage as a Hu Tao does yet we don't call her hypercarry
i have Neuvi, Kazuha, Fischl but no Zhongli; what would you guys recommend i use instead? i have other geo and shielder units. For now i'll probably try Layla since she's built, even tho her uptime is not as long. Dont know if something like Gorou full EM would work, since he at least pulls in crystals, or if Crystallize shields are just utter crap.

alright i love you videos they're interesting and informative, but why do you insist on randomly labelling half the units that require field time as hypercarries? as you literally explained in this video hydro on fielders drive reactions, neuvilette does the same and his kit encourages you to have lots of hydro reactions. he currently doesnt have a single unit who supports his damage, his role in every team he's good in is to apply hydro, yet he's somehow a hypercarry despite filling an identical role to ayato and childe? a hypercarry is a character who's main function in teams is to deal damage and whose optimal team focuses primarily on that one character's damage, which is true for xiao, wanderer, eula, high cons raiden and thats about it. neuvilette is an on field driver who happens to have high personal damage, his damage is a bonus and the majority of team dps comes from reactions. you could play any neuvillete team with barbara instead and still clear abyss, and if you tried to play a real hyper team with him it would be awful
