I GOT NAVIA AND AYAKA IN 1 PULL, AYAKA ON 6TH.
They don't have the same utility. Navia is a main dps and she is here to deal big dmg. Raiden is a burst dps wich can helps by being an universal battery + she can be used to increase the dmg of your elemental burst and be played in hyperbloom team. And the current buff in abyss can help Navia to finish faster so both character are good and none of them is better.
but raiden is not just a dps shes more

I like navia because she's geo and didn't have think about reaction just pull up umbrella and booom

raiden may not finish faster than navia is because navia is geo and geo doesn't have a reaction dmg and raiden pair with more elements has more reaction dmg than a electro hypercarry team

Even though Navia is better then Raiden in dealing damage she is still one of the best electro units and can be used in way too many teams while Navias has a shorter limit when it comes to teams.Raidens support and huge damage that can be comparable to a dps makes her better then Navia i believe

One thing that baffles me is how hostile people became towards Raiden existing when Navia was released. It's like they have a deep hatred for Raiden and now that Navia is out their bubble bursts and they have to shout out loud "Haha Raiden! You suck! Navia is 1000000 times better than you!!! Raiden fell off!"
I really do not understand what's going on. Navia is only really suitable for main dps and locked into Crystaline reactions. Therefore she has very high damage with a simple execution.
Raiden is highly suitable as both Hypercarry and Sub-DPS roles. Her Hypercarry benefits more greatly from other characters using their bursts before her while she also buffs their burst damage. She also serves as a battery for your team regardless of her role. Her Electro element and 100% upkeep on auto application makes her very good for multitude of elemental reactions.
If anything, Dehya and Raiden should be the ones compared as their kits and elements allow for similar roles(although Dehya is vastly undertuned).
Eula and Navia are much closer in their respective roles and versatility. I'm currently a Eula main and Navia C0 should be beating Eula C0 in main dps by a notable amount.
It's abit ironic how Nahida's rerun being nearly confirmed has Youtubers create videos on how Raiden has randomly fallen off and Nahida is much more versatile. But in Navia vs Raiden, said versatility means nothing? Heck, Chevreuse hasen't even been released yet and she's yet another Raiden support who brings back Overload reactions
