  1. Natlan is a peak to genshin future. If Hoyo have in in them to follow thru with punishing mechanism and more hostile overworld environment, despite the toxic casual community grabbing them by their balls, then there might be a chance for GI to be a fraction of what HSR is right now.

  2. I mean… that was pretty obvious that the reason why we have no Natlan NPC is not because of random thing, but because it was isolated by either a law or a taboo. I guessed this long time ago. Or I would rather say logically deduced, because it's not a guess.

  3. Its starting to remind me of Africa inspired. However, china is usually racist and assumes that Africa has no developed cities. Yes true, there are villages that has no technology. But there are some countries in Africa that are more developed than others

  4. I personally think Natlan is the least technically advanced nation. It’s not that they want to leave Natlan but literally can’t as they aren’t advanced. They probably don’t even know how to make boats honestly. I also think they’re constantly fighting for “territory” in Natlan so that could also be another reason.

  5. Given how war in the real world is so heavily based on stealing every good technological advancement and using it for violence, and, like, imperializing other nations, it's heavily ironic to imagine an isolated Natlan with primitive technology. Also given that Natlan is supposed to be based on Central American nations, let's hope the designers aren't planning to take this "primitive" thing to an anti-Indigenous place. Maybe the idea will just be a state held back by perpetual civil war and warring clans or something? Let's hope it's nothing worse than that.

  6. Maybe it will be like in sumeru, where the people couldn’t dream, then the traveler helped fix things and they could dream again. Maybe after the natlan archon quest the natlantians will be able to leave the country if they want too.

  7. Starting Natlan by going to the Ashen sea sounds like a terrible idea. I am also convinced that in the middle of the desert there is still a giant buried pyramid that will come out cuz there are 2 monuments of a pyramid with an all seeing eye in Guarabard.
