Right after defeating Scaramouche a.k.a. The Balladeer in an epic boss fight, Nahida with Traveler and Paimon was able to access Greater Lord Rukkhadevata’s final memory. The group ventured into the domain created until they were able to reach the realm of consciousness’ final area. There lies the Irminsul Tree of the new samsara and Rukkhadevata’s appears in a familiar form. Nahida reunites with her in a touching moment and the events that followed were filled with tears and longing. They hug each other before the eventual ending to the Sumeru problem has taken place, healing the Irminsul Tree and the people from illnesses. This English cutscene recorded in full length and in HD quality is part of the Sumeru Archon Quest Chapter III: Act V officially titled “Akasha Pulses, the Kalpa Flame Rises” with a subpart titled “Where the Boat of Consciousness Lies”.

  2. I rly hate "Everyone forgets, everyone is happy" endings.
I rly liked the quest itself
But we did SO MUCH useless and meaningless stuff
All that couldve been reduced to 1hr and half maybe 2 at most.
It felt so tiring that when i was watching the final interesting parts i was already dead inside with my hypemeter near 0.

  3. There is one thing that rly makes no sense to me
Greater lord asked nahida to erase her so the forbidden knowlege she had would vanish from the tree (after all both her and nahida are conected to it)
Later Dottore tells nahida the forbidden knowlege all over again, wouldnt take bring demise to irminsul again? 🗿💀🗿

The saddest of this is that none of them remember anything bc us …well like mr zhongli said we are the record that carry their memories forward……

  5. the fact that now all mention of lord Rukkhadevata has been erased from the game after the quest is the saddest part, not even the statues make the little noise anymore,

  7. That "Goodbye, people of Sumeru. May you be blessed tonight with the sweetest of dreams." hit SO hard for me. Because I understood that this wasn't just a final farewell. It was so much more than that. It was a farewell that would never be heard or remembered. This was TRULY the ultimate sacrifice, as it would not even be remembered. Books are rewritten, names rearranged, events changed. And no one would know the difference.

  9. As cheesy as this may sound, it now falls to us, the travellers, to never forget Rukkhadevata's sacrifice. To the most selfless Archon, may you rest in an eternal pleasant dream.
