My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined (Genshin Impact)

Today in Genshin Impact we’re playing Reminiscent Regimen, an event I was really looking forward to, but man does it suck.

  1. Honestly happy to see most people enjoyed it, perhaps it’s simply not designed for 2 players :/ my main gripe is with the boat one, as a couple others pointed out, it’s pretty clunky.

  2. I found a majority of it enjoyable enough. I used Kazuha for most of it because I could get on the platforms before the wind currents were up which saved time and I could continuously plunge attack. I agree with one of my friends that the second one is my favorite though. I also kinda hated the boat ones because they were more stressful but the last two were fairly boring lol I wasn't all that interested in it to begin with but with friends it made it better

  3. Boat coop event and the plays on Fischl's Island were the only things I didn't like about the summer events. I was happy with the experiences for the most part. And I played all the coop events with 1 or 2 other friends (usually just 1 other), so I didn't have a full 4 team and thought it was fine.

  5. The theater event was so, so, so, so bad. I left it on as I did other stuff, but MAN what a horrible thing to go through… the ENDLESS dialogue, the eternal pauses to choose the ravens, and it was so goddamn unnecessarily long. If it weren't for the primogems, I wouldn't have finished it.

  6. Ah yes. The pain of watching the shitty theatre performance as played by literal statues. And you can’t even tab out while it’s playing because you have to lug the right statue on stage.
    That was absolute hell.

  7. when I did this event half the time everyone was just playing ayaka and it was quite fun, the actual event wasn’t the best but primos are primos

  8. gosh this the mood in this vid was so relatable lmao
i also had my expectations up, especially after all that dead time (regadless of the dead time being totally understandable)
it's clear that they put a lot of effort in these minigames and islands and story and all that…but man, i feel like this patch was just as dead as the last one in a way
the running around to wait for timers to finish and at the end after you finished it's what it's usually going on in genshin, idk why they'd go for some kind of …air combat? kinda stuff? like, why not keep it on the ground? how we are used to?
should i go on and talk about how mobile "friendly" this was? =))
never had problems with my ping but i think this minigame broke my phone
they just didn't thought trough a bunch of things imo
idk, overall, your video was enjoyable to watch, i had 100 times more fun watching this video than actually doing the event lmao

  9. I liked the event because it was simple enough to clear it out in 1 hour on the last day and get all the prizes. Also interactions with other 3 players were surprisingly cool, usually others are boring or annoying in other games.
Yet I agree, the platforming and controling characters was clunky and strange, even for me, who loves and knows platformers.

  10. I have mixed opinions about GAA. It was fun but there's also too much talking involved. The co-op event wasn't bad if you did have the 4 players. But if no one is communicating and just playing then you just gotta head forward otherwise everyone is just running in circles. I think that's what the minute prep time is for, in hopes that random strangers communicate the plan of who does what.

As for GAA/Summer Odyssey stuff, I enjoyed the content that was provided but just so much talking and not enough playing. So many different mechanics involved.

  11. The expectations were so high 😭 last year set the bar in the clouds because all the events were fun and honestly it was one of my favorites but then this summertime event was very… sad
