As always is very nice to see you two react to genshin. It's special when we see others appreciate something in which we are very into. I would very much enjoy you reaction to the actual game if one day you decide to start
For Raiden lore story is not really bluntly said in game playthrough but need some reading other sources like book in game.
All Raiden companions is deity they all immortal but doesn't meant can't die, one die from war alongside with her, one become madness consume by darkness and Raiden as deity can't let her subject or nation in danger so she must killed her own friend for sake of her duties. And i see you already know there's another Raiden, they're sister and her sister let her last breath in Raiden hand cus other Raiden badly injured in war that Raiden didn't partake and Raiden come too late to save her sister.
That was Ei with her friends, they were of the different races that live in Inazuma. Each one died before their time and it is hinted Ei had to take down personally one of them due to their corruption due to erosion. The last one that looked like her is a spoiler for the archon quest just know it was a different person.
So, this is a little theory of mine, but I've realized that all the characters from the same element have a certain "theme" to them.
-All the Anemo (wind) characters have communication, a certain message or ideal they want to transmit and to move around, like Venti's freedom.
-All the Geo (earth) characters have determination, a strict, self-imposed path they want to follow and never deviate from, like Yunjin's opera or Zhongli's contracts.
-All the Electro (thunder) characters have an idealization, a potential they would like to see come true, like Raiden Shogun's eternity.
-All the Dendro (plant) characters seem to have an adaptation, a way to do the best they can with what they have, like Tighnari's knowledge helping heal the forest.
-All the Hydro (water) characters have perfection, a sort of illusion they hold up wihle they deal with the enormous amount of responsibilities, like Kokomi with her army and Ayato with his family.
-All the Pyro (fire) characters have a passion, something they absolutely love and want to do always, like Klee with her bombs or Hu Tao with her family's funeral parlor.
-All the Cryo (ice) characters have a redemption, a regret from the past that they want to make up for, like Shenhe's neglected childhood or Eula's legacy with the past of the Lawrence family.
You watched them in the opposite order from newest to oldest but it's ok I don't think it matters that much

I believe what happened in Itto’s trailer (the one with the play) was: Itto is an oni and has a little gang (the guys acting with him). I believe they knocked out the actors and took their places, that’s why the narrator got confused and they got arrested at the end 😂
30:05 Yeah she got horns she is a half-human half-qilin. Qilin is a legendary hooved chimerical creature that appears in Chinese mythology, and is said to appear with the imminent arrival or passing of a sage or illustrious ruler. Qilin are a specific type of the lin mythological family of one-horned beasts.

That moment gives me goosebumps everytime. The Raiden Shogun's teaser is a perfect example of wordless storytelling. Simply marvelous.
For the matter of Venti also being known as Barbatos, all the Archons (the ruling gods of each of the nations) happen to have another name in similar vein, that being a name for a demon. Zhongli and Raiden Shogun having Morax and Baal respectively. Curiously, Paimon is also the name of a demon.
It looks like Cyno's teaser didn't make it into the playlist, yet the newest one for Nilou did. huh. No big deal though, just something that's a little weird to me.
The Raiden Shogun trailer is difficult to understand if you didn't play the game. The shogun is not immortal, gods can die. Youll understand when you play.

13:42 Itto and the gang hijacked the play, the people you see in the cut away are the real actors knocked out, and they replaced the end of the script for what was likely a much less violent end. That's why they were arrested at the end.

you should make a reaction to the story teasers; they revolve more around the general plot of genshin than the characters, and they’re really good 🙂
30:30 the high pitched voice you keep hearing is Paimon, get used to her, the traveler doesn't speak the local language very well so Paimon does most of the talking for them.
30:51 He is not, it was revealed outright in a missable event that he is a homunculus, an artificial person created through alchemy.

16:55 Those are her friends who died in the war. It wasn't explained but some of those became her enemies if you pause the teasers bit by bit. The one who looks like her is her twin sister. She is the warrior while her sister is the leader. They both ruled Inazuma as one ruler but her sister died in the archon war.

i don't think i commented on the last video.. i forgot. nice to see you guys enjoying the misc video about the characters. the teasers are just a glimpse to their personality. usually the featured 5star ones. 😀
your mother was correct when she said it's like there's a story in there, bcs there is! everytime there's a featured 5star come up (new ones), there will be a special chapter/ quest dedicated to them. the 4star are called "hangouts" while the 5star are "character stories". you can play spin-off 'story' just for that character, to get to know them better and usually also have them as a trial character in combat setting within each "hangout" or "character story". so you get an idea how the character plays out and if it fits your gameplay or not.

Like everyone, you missed Xiao's teaser because it's titled as yaksha's story teaser.
There's actually one teaser that wasn't in this video. I'm not sure if you've already seen it but it was Cyno's teaser. I'm kinda surprised it wasn't here considering that nilou who was released after him was still in the video
Fischl has Chinese voice over, in the other videos as well, you surely have seen her. also she has a purple raven named Oz, whom she turns into. As for Venti, he plays the lyre, the harp is a biiiig string instrument that stays in the floor in front of the player and is played with both their hands, one in each side of the instrument's frame. The lyre you hold with one hand cause it is a lot smaller, and play with the other.
