Hello Roamer, i love watching your videos while Im playing the game myself 😀 its so nice to see someone appreciate the beauty of the scenery and takes time to take it all in!
Some minor pointers, if you want them:
– Razor can destroy all ores in his radius you if you hold his elemental skill. Makes it easier to collect them 🙂
– leveling everyone up to 20 and ascending them is actually very smart, because they dont need much and you get a blue wish as a reward
– xiaos burst drains his hp, so keep an eye on him while fighting.
You asked if a lot of people play him and i think he is actually one of the most popular characters haha

Also just because i noticed you get world join requests here and there in videos, if you open the co-op menu, there is an option to lock your world and then others wont be able to request
You can of course keep the team you have now but I feel like you might also find using Jean, Faruzan, Fischl, Xingqiu, Bennett, Xiangling or Layla with Xiao fun :]
This is something important you should know. I say you should ignore people telling you "Oh you shouldn't play this character!" "Oh, get this character instead!" They're probably saying that because they're used to only playing those characters and can't imagine playing the game without them anymore. I'm adventure rank 60 aka the highest rank u can get and I've gotten through the whole game with Yanfei (who I'd say isn't the most popular character with players) which is the first 4 star I got from my wishes when I started the game. I have a ton of 5 stars people like but I realized that I prefer to play Yanfei simply because I enjoy her gameplay and I like her design. The game isn't pay to win, it's designed in such a way that you can complete and enjoy the whole game just fine with characters the game gives you for free, so wishing is actually never required and won't change your gameplay experience as much as people are trying to tell you. Anyways love watching your videos <3

Hey Calvin, if you enjoy physical attacks AND you want a cryo character that you would want to use, you should consider pulling for Eula. She's a cryo character but she focuses a lot on physical damage, and she can hit very big numbers. She's coming in the second half of the next version, so you should be able to get her if you save your leftover primos!!

Yaoyao… you can jump or DASH during her burst to apply more dendro and healing.(Finish reading her 4th talent) Dashing uses stamina but is safer! Jumping can end up with you bouncing around like a ping pong ball! 😂
Agree 100%…Exploration is my fav part of the game. It is a big beautiful world, it’s the journey not the destination. Very much enjoying revisiting from the beginning of the game with you. Been playing for 3 years now… still love the Genshin.

49:36 Yes Genshin is after all a "free" game – in some ways, players pay through their time or pay out of their wallets to buy the battle pass or resin refills for convenience. Account progression is time-gated through the resin system. Since you are at a stage where you are feeling the resource limitations, these are some suggestions:
1. Pick a core team to level up and try to stick with it. The higher the level, the more resources are required. For example, ascending a single character at level 70 requires 12 boss mats that only drop after spending resin. That could be up to 6 boss runs or 240 resin. Thus, you would need to spend two whole days planning to do boss runs just to ascend a single character, as resin is capped at 160. Extrapolate that to leveling up character skills, weapons, and even later on, artifact farming and you'll see why Genshin mid-game is basically resource management 101.
2. Try to farm mora and exp books via ley lines and expend all your resin every day unless you need specific materials such as talent level-up materials, weapon level-up materials or boss materials. You will need mora and exp no matter when and it's better just to hoard them now because as you've seen, trying to level characters will quickly deplete those resources.
3. When doing level up material domains for talents and weapons. Always challenge the most difficult domain that is available to you. This is because all domains cost the same amount of resin to receive rewards, but higher-difficulty domains reward more for the same amount of resin, if you are having trouble, you can match with other players to help you via the "Match" button.
4. Try to do at least three weekly bosses every week. Currently, you have only unlocked two (Dvalin and Boreas). Weekly bosses drop artifacts, talent level up materials, and if you're very lucky, weapon billets used to craft 4-star weapons. Early on, you won't need to farm artifacts in dedicated domains as the weekly boss-dropped artifacts, while not on the most optimal sets, should be enough to gear all your characters until late game.
btw xiao does not take plunge damage so u can plunge from top of the world to the bottom hell and take 0 damage and he makes it so that whenever he is in the party everyone in party consumes less stamina while climbing

Maybe you should use the auto equip function since you don't really know what you're doing with artefacts for now.
Also, for your Xiao you probably want another anemo character with him so that he recharges his burst faster, like Sayu for example.
This area of Liyue is one of the most gorgeous places I've seen in any game I've played. And you're in for such a treat with the rest of the game, too! So many beautiful places.

there is a neat function for artifacts. you choose to fast equip when hovering on the artifacts tab in character screen. after selecting that, you can either choose the game to give you their best recommendation, OR you set the artifacts yourself, with main stats and substats all hand picked. try it out, that feature is relatively new, so it's good to learn. it's easier than looking through every artifact manually
I will say, if you're interested in the personality and background of your characters, reading their stories and voice lines as you raise their friendship gives you so much information about them! Also playing the character quests of 5*s and all the endings of the hangouts of 4*s! But it is very time consuming and I understand that not everyone is so interested in the background and lore of the characters, compared to their fighting abilities xD

Tip: do not focus on artifacts for now. Focus artifacts on ar45 up. AR45 guarantees 5star artifact drops from domains. It wont be efficient if you level them now.
