  1. genshin impact basically not a MMORPG.
I already being a dolphin for this game.
    but seeing my childhood game
finnaly appear properly as ragnarok X,
(eternal Love is a fail product)
now im back to ragnarok online,
    for constant online environtment.

    plus, genshin's bootleg rival,
legend of eternal, seem to be better,
as it is also run as MMORPG,
it also has feature which genshin doesnt,
    such as riding animals….

    mihoyo need to get better.

  2. I dont care if the game suck, I just love wandering around collecting ingredients because its beautiful and see the story progress, I love the anime like characters cause I'm a weebu, unless I became really busy with work that I can't play that often, but still I won't uninstall the game. I love this game so much. I have a lot of account, sometimes I just repeat the content again and again with new account, still good.

  3. I believe Inazuma will be great. My expectations are still low, but it is higher than my normal low expectations. If it fails, I'll be disappointed, but I won't stop playing their game. I've only got burnouts but never bored(okay maybe that's a lie), but like you said, we're all addicted to this game, so anything works really lol.

  4. I love the story and characters. I'm F2P and I initially played the game during the second closed beta test. Since then, I've made a new account earlier this year to play alongside my girlfriend from the beginning and this account has now progressed much further than my original account, but I digress. I have no intention to stop playing. As long as new content and characters are being released, my girlfriend and I will continue playing. It would take quite a significant nose dive in quality and content for us to stop. Lol.

As for some games we did stop playing:
Cyberpunk 2077 (game breaking bugs and broken missions)

Animal Crossing New Horizons (boring and monotonous after a point with too little customization)

Destiny 2 (tired of the grind every new season and became bored after the removal of a considerable amount of content last year without introducing enough new content to fill the void left behind, oh and seasonal events are always the same which is just kind of pathetic; even worse was having some equipment relegated as legacy content that you couldn't level up enough to be useful for the new content)

  5. In long term, Inazuma won't be anything more than extension of the current map. Some daily quests, some bosses, some monsters. We will likely get more of things, similarly how teapots gave us additional about 5% of resin. It will be on similar level, otherwise Mihoyo would be cutting the branch it is sitting on. Anyone expecting significant changes to the current gameplay will be likely disappointed once the initial excitement vanishes. Will people massively abandon the game because of that? I doubt it. Even if Inazuma was a total flop in eyes of those hungry for new content.

  8. The game needs more core content , stuff you do daily or weekly that doesn't require resin . Rn we have daily commissions, abyss rotations ,weekly bounties and requests, and im gonna count weekly bosses even tho they require resin. If the game had more repeatable content it would justify droughts of this magnitude. Coming from a Destiny background , it had strikes , pvp , competitive pve (gambit) , bunch of raids , bounties , public events , and destiny 1 had a horde mode. Due to different natures of both games , you didn't need to play these activities every week , but they did give you rewards that were of higher quality than passively playing the game for hours. The most obvious way Genshin can make its core content richer is by: uncapping the city reputation and crimson tree levels and introducing random rewards like talent books , weapon material and perhaps weapons like festering desire each time you level up each of these past their soft cap. Make activities like Elemental crucible and the tower defense permanent with daily rewards. Genshin competes with console games while still being stuck as a mobile game

  9. the only reason mihoyo is losing players at genshin impact is because the Archon quest is fuckin short.
im a new player on genshin and i already Finished the Main Story Quest which is more Called the Archon Quest for like only 3weeks, and now i dont know what to do in my life. maybe quit the game and find another one i guess.

  10. I'm playing this game mostly for the lore so idc if Inazuma fails or anything and I don't really care that much about content bcz i just do my daily commissions and use resin and log out that's it

  11. i’ve only been playing for 3 months now and i’m already too attached to the characters and the lore lol so even if inazuma “fails” i’ll still be playing

  12. I'm going to wait and see what they do for anniversary. I think I'd be more upset if they didn't do anniversary that well than if they bungled Inazuma. That said I do understand that typically it's in later Anniversaries where things get really good.

  13. There have been less than 10 days I haven't logged in since launch… I had no idea this game was dying?? Maybe if you force 3+ hours out of it a day… I play 30ish minutes a day and that's all I need to do. That's why I like it.

  14. This is my very first video game I have ever played and I just think… It's a free game? People have so many expectations and are so critical and I'm over here like: we get all of this for free??
Maybe it's bc I'm inexperienced or just a very positive person but I'm just happy with what I'm given, if it's good enough it's good enough

  15. I'm super-casual so I really don't feel the lack all the content creators cry about. I do dailies, enjoy the story, play whatever characters I open, enjoy trying teams and collecting stuff to build my peeps and my little teapot; all pretty simple and enjoyable. If content drops off then I'll play less and check in for the next chapter but so far it's been busy with fun island stuff and events. Just my 2-cents from my tiny corner of gaming.

  16. I dont think a story would be fail (I play just for story). The problem would be the balance, but it will not mean people will stop playing it. Remember fgo, it's unbalance and hard af for each story update and people still keep playing it because story and waifu/husbandos. Well fgo has fan service, but I think genshin can keep it up…
