  1. Its okay if MHY releases all islands genshin would run out of content pretty quickly. So i get the pacing its not like they would not release the other islands just play and have fun on the new region😎

  2. I think story wise it makes sense because imagine being able to just walk up to Baal's area or like ending up exploring the entirety of inazuma in a week so i much prefer having the area released in parts

  3. Spaced out content is good and even if the islands are a little small, I don’t mind. Feels less overwhelming and gives me more motivation to fully explore the smaller area(a) we get before the bigger ones are released. They learned from their earlier content issues and are trying something new – even if it doesn’t totally work, the effort is appreciated.

  5. Makes sense because of plot.
Make the life easier for Mihoyo, because players won't rush everything like madlads.
If a bug occurs, they can fix it before launch the island.
    Create more hype about updates.

    Nice move Mihoyo.

  6. i feel like its alright for them to not release the entire thing just yet, just so everyone can't speedrun inazuma and demand more content already, its going to take them a lot of time as well to develop the next regions.

  7. I'm glad they decided not to give us a whole land at once! Like this I won't get overwhelmed by the sheer amount to explore and even people that can't play Genshin that often have the chance to discover it before being blasted with spoilers everywhere online <3

  8. It entirely depends on how much content is present within the islands. I agree with pacing content, but past records with the events indicate that there is too little content for how long the events usually run. As long as both the casuals and tryhards, specially the tryhards, have more than 2 weeks worth of daily grinding it should be fine. I personally 100%'d Dragonspine in 7 days of its release, that to me was too little content for a 6 month wait. Sure there were events that took place during that time, but all were achievable within 30 minutes of game time.

TLDR; if the content can be played in its entirety in less than 2 weeks, they should've released all 6 islands.

  9. Inflating lifespan artificially again by releasing only bits. No need to speed run these islands, unless they added some REAL storylines longer than 45 minutes gameplay, they will be dpleted in 2 weeks tops, even by a slow player like me.

  10. The two new archon quests are what honestly matter the most. It's getting me hyped up and it doesn't matter if they release all the islands together, all that matters is lore etc.

  11. After thinking about it a bit, I believe they'll release a new area with each new character banner. This character will likely be linked to the faction that controls this area. Following the story it will lead to the electro archon and the last area. This is just an assumption that would make sense, added to the fact they probably don't want us to clear Inazuma too quickly giving them the time to develop the next big region to be released. I suspect that The Chasm would be a intermediate region like Dragonspine in between Inazuma and the next big region to be released let supposed next year. I know this is a lot of assumption but it would make sense as a company development strategy giving them enough leadtime.

  12. Parts….coz it much better since if the update is full done at once, We would complete it fastly and then we had to wait till like 2 years for more but now we can do it slowly……

  13. With the amount of effort the team puts behind everything (the region, lore, bosses, characters, music etc.) it really angers me when people ask next region when. Like why don't you try developing a game yourselves then, and then beg maybe.

  14. I enjoy and respect they develop and deliver content with quality control. I love the lore and storyline and to me it’s making sense. I really enjoy that the story has depth and coherence to it, some organization is required for that. It’s nice to have things to look forward to and this game has been a therapy and panacea for me a year since it’s release… can’t complaining the least.

  15. No. We have half Inazuma now, then 2 festivals, then 1 island and so on. We have to buy new weapons and 30 new 5* characters (few BLD USD for Mihoyo) and then next part. From real beautiful adventure game, we have now: money wanted corpo and new skinned, housing, dating blob. It is so boring… I really get lucky to not give then my money them at all. The game content is given so slow to squeeze everyone from their money. It's not the game which I started to play, this is money-making blob.

  16. This is exactly what I was dreading. The one fucking thing I was hoping they wouldn't do was break up and timegate the new region. I guess I was giving Mihoyo too much credit. If this is true then I don't really think I'm gonna roll on ANY banners because chances are I'm not gonna be playing for much longer. Idk, was kinda hoping Mihoyo would have at least some shred of integrity.

We've been waiting and waiting and waiting for any shred of new and PERMANENT content since 1.2 back in December and they finally give it to us but just like Dragonspine, it'll be picked clean within the first couple weeks and then we're back to content drought status.

  17. I think it will depend on wether how big those three islands are going to be and if the areas shown in the live stream are going to be included in those three islands. Also, I think the Nobushi is a direct reference of the abolishment of the feudal system during the Meiji restoration and with it the Samurai class. The abolishment meant that the Samurai will no longer exist forcing mamy ex-Samurai to turn to criminality to make ends meet.
