Hello friend how are you
NO ONE CAN MAKE ME HATE THIS MAVUIKA TRAILER
BTW THIS WAS SUNG BY CRISSY COSTNAZA, WHO SANG LEGENDS NEVER DIE FROM LoL and in Korean it was Miyeon from (G)-Idle
Hoyo is cooking❤🎉
This trailer is so good😭
In JP her VA herself sang it
they put the Akira slide in, I am satisfied
Mavuika really is just the anti-Raiden from start to finish. Where Raiden zigs, Mavuika zags.
One's a god, the other a human, one wanted to preserve Inazuma without much care for its people, the other wants to protect the people of Natlan rather than just Natlan itself; one's evocative of the Eastern Yamato Nadshiko trope, the other is a redhead that turns fiery blonde and rides a bike like the biggest gyaru; one isolates herself in her grief, the other surrounds herself with her heroes and friends to keep them safe in spite of all the losses she suffered; one is powerful but suffers because of personal weaknesses she isn't able to comprehend, the other is a human with all the weaknesses that entails but draws strength from her mortality to push forward with her plan; one's a god to be worshipped and bow to, the other a leader to be admired and aspire to.
Hell we even have the direct confrontation between an Archon and a Fatui Harbinger in Natlan as we did in Inazuma but it goes in reverse. Instead of ending the collaboration between the two factions it's the starting point. Not to mention that said collaboration is based on deceit and lies in Inazuma but sincerity and respect in Natlan.
Design document for Mavuika must have just said "Raiden" but written upside-down and with internet comments about how Raiden sucks to make a point.
Love'em both though!
In the Japanese version, the original VA from Mavuika sings the song.
The Japanese version is also the only one where the character's VA actually sings the song himself – all the others use external singers.
And when you use this Japanese dubbing in the game, it feels a lot more believable when it's the voice that sings the song rather than someone else singing the song.
